This fight isn't over and I already want to see a rematch.

Gotta love the respect that they showed each other at the end of the 5th round.

Arakawa surviving the end of the 6th round. This dude has a lot of heart. Not sure how much he has left in the tank though.

Difference tonight is Figueroa's power.

Anyway, Arakawa may need to be protected here. He's eating way too much punishment. It's entertaining for the fans, but not good for his long term health.

This is a great fight but Figueroa was supposed to be an elite prospect. He eats way too many punches, I think a guy like Demarco probably puts him to sleep. Had trouble making weight too and 140 has far more dangerous punchers and talent compared to the barren wasteland that is lightweight

They should just give the Knockout Kings bonus to these two guys. They both earned it tonight.

he has an iron body. He was getting blasted by viscous body shots and never even flinched because of them

He must have an iron body and chin because Figueroa probably broke both his hands tonight.

If Jesus Soto Karrass was named Billy Jones and from Oklahoma, he would've stopped getting prominent tv dates 7 years ago. Berto better blast this dude out

Berto looked horrible in the first round. Did a complete 180 in the second.

For a guy that's built like a mini tank, Berto manages to get caught and bullied against the ropes a lot.

If Berto wins this fight, they should feed him to Adrien Broner or some other 147 prospect. Berto is completely done as a serious contender, still trying to do the same dumb crap with the philly shell and shoulder shell despite having zero reflexes. Mayweather can do that because he sees them coming and moves away, Berto still hasn't learned that he has a complete inability to avoid hooks

I'd rather see a rematch with Ortiz. Maybe those two can produce fireworks again.

That stoppage was really, really awful.

But still, that ko shows more Berto flaws when he leaves his feet for a freakin jumping, reaching hook. Looks the part but has so many giant flaws to his game

Missed the Thurman/Chaves fight as I was out to dinner but thankfully caught the other 2 in what may have been the televised card of the year:

Arakawa/Figueroa fight was something else, incredible, non-stop action throughout. I can't believe how many power shots Arakawa took and was still able to come back and fight. Definite FOTY contender. So many great fights in 2013, this boxing year just keeps getting better.

No way Soto Karass/Berto was gonna be able to top the previous fight but it was still a pretty damn good fight in its own right. Berto, even on one arm, landed some good shots on Soto Karass but Soto Karass just never stopped coming and he made a mess of Berto's face. I thought the stoppage was solid, Berto looked wobbly and he took a lot of punishment in the fight. As for Berto being a contender, it had been on the rocks for awhile entering tonight but yeah, tonight confirmed that he's pretty much done. I wouldn't mind seeing a Soto Karass/Thurman matchup next.

You know it is a good fight when you stop scoring fights...

It was a hell of a card from top to bottom...
