My fave fighter, Tim Boetsch, currently sits *at* .500. (13-13 in the UFC). As probably the worst record in the UFC (with fights above some threshold), you'd have to think. Come join us, Antony.

Not so fast, my friend. My fave fighter (once upon a time), BJ Penn, is 12-13-2 in the UFC.

Damn, that's a terrible record. You win.

(Tho Penn is arguably not an active fighter.)

GTFO Goddard. Moraes just got KTFO multiple times, who cares that all the extra shots kept waking him back up?

So did Moraes just get figured out or what? 135 is a sick division but i feel like he went from mowing through guys to a losing streak pretty quickly.

It makes about as much sense as when I tried to start an initiative at my school called NWA, w the A for Anti-racism.

Khamzat vs Edwards is off again.

Pretty disappointing

He’s British though, right? wonder if he got that newer Covid strain. Maybe it kept him out longer than he thought or screwed his lungs up

Sounds like Khamzat is the one who dropped out, not Edwards.

Holland’s fighting Brunson which is a good fight.

Annoyed about Chimaev vs Edwards. Was looking forward to that fight the most out of any fight lately. Hoping Edwards gets a new opponent I actually like the guy. He’s calling out Jorge but that ain’t happening.

Jorge vs Edwards should have happened directly after that incident.

Edwards needs a fight, guy should Holland now just to get a fight.

Well this is a bad one.

In a sworn taped interview, he later admitted to stabbing both sisters with a brass-knuckle knife, claiming that “he killed both of his sisters and said that he did so because it was his purpose, which he was told by a higher power.”

https://www.mmafighting.com/2021/1/12/21554602/the-cost-of-being-the-king-spencer-fisher-ufc

A must-read for any MMA fan.

This is insane stuff.

My main comment is that this is, strangely, not an issue with the UFC but with Miletech Fighting Systems. Those dudes fought til the KO...as sparring. Multiple times a week. Fisher, at 155, would have sparred with 185 KO artists like Drew McFedries. Jens (145lbs) has talked about sparring 185ers, and that guys would get lifted off the canvas and dragged out of the ring, regularly. **** Robbie Lawler stopped sparring at MFS because it was so damaging.

That's where Fisher sustained all this damage.

**** Pat Miletich. That dude is a stone-cold psycho. I wonder what he's up to today? I wonder what kind of ideology he espouses? I bet it's well-considered.
