That is probably the end of my favourite female fighter’s career, at least in the ufc, but big
ups to Randa Markos. was never the most talented, but she did peak as a ranked fighter, and 8 years in the ufc.

She got bullied so hard during her TUF run, beyond anything I’ve ever seen. To the point where they allowed Randa to make a phone call, and she phoned her sister... crying.

Then she went on a nice underdog run during the show, clapping back at the bullies. She was my favourite ever since.

All the best to her.

How did that happen? Reyes was like 'I'm going to kill this guy. He doesn't even have his hands up." And yet...wow.

I know their trajectories don’t match right now but I wanna see Jiri and Johnny walker try to outweird each other at some point.

That was an absurd amount of punishment for Reyes to take. Even before what was one of the most violent KOs I've ever seen. I don't know if there is neuroscience to it, but I wonder whether it is especially bad to get shut off by shots to the head elsewhere than the chin (which is just a nerve thing, AFAIK).

Props to him. He wanted it so bad. He was a dog in there. But, given that it didn't work out despite that effort and mentality...he should definitely either retire or move to 185. LHW has an absurd number of KOs/fight...and he can't tolerate too many more.

I looked him up on the Sherdog forums a while back. I think someone said he became religious, even (?). Islam, I assume.

Reyes looks very uncomfortable with pressure and guys with big punching power. The last two fights he just looks bad trying to backpedal and circle out of things.

Little early to be considering retirement I’d say lol. I’m not sure he could make 185 without losing a lot in the cut.

I say retirement because he seemed to be the best possible Reyes he could be. He was so confident. And he left everything in there.

What's his path to a title? He's going to have to win by impressive KO at least 2-3 times. What are teh chances of doing that and doing that without getting your own lights shut off?

LHW is too unforgiving to be a dogged journeyman without any wrestling. KO artists don't get far (Oezdimer, Walker, that British guy).

Before the Jones fight, Reyes said he walked around 225-230, and was thinking of moving to HW in the future. No way he can make 185 without compromising himself, with that 6 foot 4 inch frame. He should just fight lower-tier opponents and build himself back up.

Weight cutting in MMA is so dumb and dangerous. If only there was an example of some other org out there that has pretty much solved the issue...

1 of the judges on drugs over on Fight Night. Nchukwi got beat to crap and had a point taken away and one judge still called it a draw. Then in the next fight DC and Cruz rightly had Klein winning the first two rounds and one judge called it 30-27 for Trizano. wtf
