Bellator Rampage looks like he ate Pride Rampage.

Suitable return to Japan. Can crushing and a freak show.

Did any of MVP's, Chandler's, or Fedor's collective opponents land a punch (I don't think Rampage even threw one)?

Two most prominent headlines on MMAF resulting from the event (great encapsulation):

"Rampage humble, plans to lose weight"

"MVP insists that "can crusher" label a compliment"

It is hard to put into words how poorly Bellator has handled MVP.

Rumor is MVP/Pico is up next. A step up for MVP, a slight step down for Pico.

Bellator lets fighters govern their trajectory. Pico, MVP, and McKee as evidence. MVP is a bully, sadist, coward or some combo.

Also, Bellator and commissions shouldn't be allowing this. It's BumFights.

I don't know, I seriously hate myself for throwing big bucks on a washed up match up... lol

Fedor chin is gross one good jab from Rampage and he's sleeping .. I like the bet but i am far from a pro lol

Yeah, rough bet. I am never betting on Bellator garbage again, lol.

Btw man, this is going to be super random, did you use to post on Hoopshype? I know someone by your username who used to make sigs, and judging by the one you have, I'm guessing you made it. If so, you made me a sig WAY BACK in the day, and I might even have you as a FB friend tbh. LOL

Chandler pretending like he's under out-of-competition testing. 5-6 days before his fight, "I got a call from them a couple of days ago saying you’ve got 36 hours to go pee in a cup at Quest Diagnostics because we’re doing out of competition drug testing." 36 hours? And he can just show up whenever at some podunk testing facility? No way they're watching him put his cock in cup.

BTW, wondering if all of Bellator's drug testing is this exploitable? Guys like Chael and Wanderlei were under out-of-competition testing protocols because of previous suspensions. But did that just mean that they had to show up to a random Quest a couple times during camp to then be given a cup and sent down the hallway to piss into it? Could Quest possibly have a protocol where they observe you piss and prevent Whizzinator-type cheating?

RIZIN SPOILER

Damn, that dude from Azerbaijan is a killer. Pretty soundly beat Pitbull (who had especially well-developed traps). From a HL, it looks like he has been dominant in RIZIN for a while now. Would it ever be worth it for him to sign with Bellator or the UFC?

Tofiq Musaev is his name.

He is definitely someone who needs to be on the UFC or Bellator's radar. Would love to see Lance Palmer and Nathan Schult in the UFC as well. Both guys just won back to back PFL titles.

MVP seems more interested in his entrance, and his post fight celebration so that he can get instagram and facebook hits from anime fans, and from casuals for a brutal finish, so he'll probably just fight guys with no wikipedia for the rest of time.

Or he'll move to pro wrestling or something.

170 lbs.: Raymond Daniels (1-1) vs. Jason King (8-5, 1 NC)
125 lbs.: Ava Knight (1-0) vs. Emilee Gettys (3-4)
145 lbs.: Juan Archuleta (23-2) vs. Henry Corrales (17-4)

Man, Bellator markets fighters really differently than the UFC does. This Jesus music would never get played in the UFC.

In hindsight getting saved by the bell was not good for Budd.

How do we feel about UFC vets flexing down over the unconscious bodies of their outmatched opponents? Pretty cool, yeah?

Eh, choking somebody out is whatever. A flex over a vicious KO, not the coolest look.

Watched the Pico fight. What a left hand this guy has. Two rips to the guy's body at the end of the first were also awesome. No one in MMA has as much torque pound-for-pound.

Also, though, the extra punch to an unconscious opponent + the weird gloating theatrical thing he does and THEN the sign of the cross. Chose a set of values, you POS. Christ isn't clubbing an unconscious man and then gleeful about it, unconcerned about the poor dude.

I haven't watched this card but surprised to hear that Pico already moved to Jackson's. Guys don't usually make those move until they're in their mid 30s.

He'd be so great at AKA. They seem to have the pressure boxing + wrestling combo down to a perfect science.
