Why? He doesn't move his head, his chin is raised. He's mediocre at striking. And that spin kick missed.

Khamzqt is for real. but not this dude.

Man, LHW is such an unforgiving division. How many KO artists has it hyped and then had destroyed?

Well, a lot far more talented than Hill, that's for sure. So it's super cynical to see him all full of himself in the post-fight. He's absolutely terrible. And he's going to get flat-lined 3 out of his next 5. But the UFC now has the film content to piece together a bunch of clashes between him and a bunch of other mediocre dudes with KO highlights.

And they're brutal KOs, too. Like Reyes was damn legit. Beautiful boxing. Not just a KO artist. But he got absolutely shattered by a Jiri KO, and will be taking 2 or so years off to recover.

Bobby Green is on one right now. Taking a fight with Islam last minute after a big win - he's been around since freaking Affliction.

Weighed in 2 pounds less than Islam too at 158 ( catchweight was 160). Said he was 195 a week ago..( yes I know that’s not long after if last fight)

How often does this quick turnaround **** work? Leben did it once. But others have failed at it, including Bisping.

Chimaev cake walked 10 day turnaround 8-)

Arman is a problem. Very impressive stuff.

Terrible judging tonight, some insane scorecards.

Kinda feels like the derailed a bunch of Green's momentum right when he seemed to be really hitting his stride as a fan favorite and draw.

Nah, just like Ragin' Al, he gets love and respect for going in there on such short notice when nobody else was willing to.

He's not fully there but he's put himself in that Diaz/Masivdal/Cowboy club where w/l doesn't matter but what people love about you is your gameness.

Diaz on short notice against Conor
Jorge against Usman on Fight Island
Cowboy against Benson Henderson after fighting two weeks prior

Anytime/Anywhere/Against Anyone is one of the things that fans will deeply respect win, lose or draw

I feel like he just got recognized as that kind of guy like these past few weeks(though not that level of popularity) and then immediately gets smashed in a round lol. I think they dimmed that flame a bit, but I get why they wanted his excitement factor as a selling point.

Probably depends how quick they can get him back in there and hopefully win.

Right now it’s all respect for jumping in and his hype is still there. That could fizzle out if they wait too long though.

He made 100K (you'd think/hope), took little damage, and gets all of the anytime/anywhere respect that Susan mentioned. There is definitely the negative w/r momentum but it still seems far and away worth it. He was never going to be a legitimate contender (he's 35). So trying to sustain the momentum of a perfect win streak to get a title shot was unrealistic. Better to make cash and profile. Which he did.

And the UFC does seem to feature/take care of those guys following that type of moment because they know how rare it is and do appreciate guys who exemplify it.

He'll be the main event on a few fight night cards with probably no crazy prospects to ride out his time in the sport.

Allen is the most underrated fighr on the roster. Needs to fight more than once a year.
