Charlo/Harrison was a great fight and did not disappoint. Very close fight up until Charlo knocked him out. I had Harrison winning by maybe a round. He show boated too much and paid the price for it. I wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd fight but I think Charlo is moving on.

7 rds into the Charlo vs Harrison. Wow, what a clinic. Charlo can't fight moving backwards at all, his counterpunches are all easily blocked. I mean, really remarkable how great Harrison's defense is. Charlo is throwing heavy attempts to counter, Harrison has his hands there to block every one. Amazing. Harrison has won at least 5 of these.

Damn, two of the judges had it 96-93 going into the 11th. Harrison was going to lose a SD (at best) even if he had won those last two.

Ridiculous scoring.

Sad to see Gamboa washed up. He was one of my favorite boxers 10 years ago and it's too bad he wasted his prime years. Tough guy to fight for 12 rounds with a ruptured achilles. Georvonta Davis didn't look great. I don't see him getting past Lomachenko, maybe even Teofoma Lopez will beat him. But Davis and Mayweather need to stop cherry picking and let him fight the top guys already.

Davis was clearly out of condition. And is surrounded by yes men. You could see that trainer hovering over him after the fight - that guy needs to go.

His left uppercut is the best punch in boxing. And it's as much the speed of the punch (which is insane) as the angles and the footwork. Him against Lopez or Loma would be nuts. That punch makes any fight interesting.

Loma schools Tank pretty easily. Davis got hit with a 3 punch combo because he wasn’t focused. The only reason why he didn’t get knocked out was because Gamboa couldn’t generate enough power due to the torn Achilles.

I agree that Loma beats him, likely. But Tank's power and ability to adjust his feet makes it interesting. Also, how Loma counters those strategically would be interesting. Do you close distance even tighter? Swoop around him (as only Loma can do)? Those are dangerous as hell, considering how well Tank can dance those feet to find footing and an angle.

Tank never takes that fight. Or won't for 5 years. Dude, rightfully, is in the game for money and fame.

Gamboa was limited by more than the achilles, even. His punches were garbage. Arms that short might work well for generating speed when you're 28. But 38? His punches had nothing on them. LOL. Paulie openly called him "shot" during the broadcast at least twice.

Fury is a bad style matchup for Wilder, but Wilder has enough power to at least knock him down once, if not twice again. Did Fury take Wilder's best shot in round 12 of the first fight and was still able to get up? That's the big question. Maybe Wilder does stop him this time because he has that ability, but I think it's fairly clear that Fury has the more well-rounded tools in the bag...and he's also as tough of a MF as they come. Just don't know if he can win it on the cards. Outboxing Wilder has to be the true strategy again but he probably can't get knocked down to get the nod, or at least not twice. I'll say Wilder wins a split and it will be controversial.

Teddy Atlas has said Fury looks to be out of shape and might not be fully committed to this fight ala Ruiz a few months ago.

I hope that is not true but Teddy knows his boxing, i initially thought Fury would win by decision but now i can see an early knockout by Wilder. Boxing always finds ways to disappoint. Either its corruption, fighters not fighting each other or guys self sabotaging themselves. Hope its a good fight.

Wilder weighed in the heaviest in his career at 231, while fury comes in at 273. I don't think Fury looks out of shape, but I do think the ankle injury could be why he's heavier, if he can't move as well because of it you'd expect him to try and get Wilder out of there early and the added weight helps there, but without the mobility to move around the ring he could be a sitting duck for Wilder. If that ankle injury is serious and his mobility is gone he'll be sleeping before the 6th round.

Ring entrances could be shorter than 12 rounds.

Why does Lennox Lewis still call fights?

Think I'll be giving Wilder that 1st. Close round though.

Close 2nd to Fury for me.

Wilder looks like the extra weight he put on is not helping him at all. He is looking gassed.
