Yeah, **** didn't make much sense. Keeps him active and adds another W to the record.

they know boxing fans are just eager to watch a fight and they put it in Florida because florida is opened so this was an easy money grab for everyone. Maybe he was the mandatory but that dude definitely did not belong in the same ring with Canelo, idek who the heck that guy is. But anyway, Canelo vs Billy Joe next. That should be a fun one, i think Canelo wins that one convincingly.

Remember he was a part of the super-six and got smocked by Eubank in a few rounds.

With you on that. Also think Canelo wins convincingly. I'd still like to see him face either Beterbiev or Bivol, but don't think he is taking that risk.

Good fight, Ennis vs Ortiz would be nice to find out who is realer.

Parker just doesn't let his hands go. Obviously a much better boxer than Chisora, but he might lose due to lack of action. Had Chisora on the ropes several times in the last 3-4 rounds - and everytime he just stood there and threw nothing.

Well, he won it by SD. But should've been a UD or even a TKO or KO win if Parker just could let his hands go. He lacks killer-instinct.

Sounds like Felix Verdejo is done. Had a lot of hype coming up as the next great puerto rican boxer but he couldn't capitalize . Looks like he killed his girlfriend, what a shame.

Pretty serious talk of Canelo going up to face Beterbiev. Classic cherry-picking move, amirite?

I don't have much hope of it happening but if the Saunders who fought David Lemieux shows up on Saturday night, it will be a great match. I would just worry about the bodywork. Saunders might be evasive but evasion only works so well against body punching. Canelo TKO rd. 7.

I hope Canelo gets him in round 1. I hope all that talk turns the fight into a slugfest. It won't happen though. They both have too much experience to let their anger take control. So, it will likely go to the scorecards.

At the end of the fight, they'll both hug and say what a great fighter the other one was.

But I really hope to see a great fight between Saunders and Alvarez with a lot of punches thrown, precise strategy, a knockdown or two, and maybe some additional taunting inside the ring.

Re-watched teh Lara fight w/ breakfast this morning. LOL. Current Canelo murders a 160 lb Lara. So even if Saunders can re-produce the kind of evasiveness Lara had, it won't be good enough. Canelo is very much improved.

In short, I think Saunders missed his chance. c. 2017 this would have been a banger. But Canelo is too good now.

Man, BJS looked like a problem. That was beautiful stuff. No one has pushed Canelo like that since GGG1.

Surprised at the finish, obviously. I would have credited mentality as his best strength. Damn, if he had taken that to 12 rounds, there could have even been a re-match.

Judges were going to **** him anyways, I suppose. (Two of the judges gave Canelo the 7th, for example. Despite it being a damn clinic.)

I loved that fight. Saunders was winning some rounds, but not outside of Canelo's strategy. Canelo controlled the whole fight. Unfortunate it ended the way it did. I would have loved to see it last. Both Fighters are so entertaining the way they each fight. Their styles meshed perfectly for a good show.

Saunders criticized other fighters for quitting and talked about going out on his shield no matter how bad his injuries were.

It’s really not that simple is it? Love seeing bullies getting what they deserve.
