Crazy to think about how well Schevchenko did against Nunes, given that she’s absolutely slaughtered Rousey, Tate, and Cyborg.

Alex looked like a hunk of ****! Just kept taking those brutal kicks shot after shot never once tried to win by going for it was too scared eventually your leg is going to shut down if you just let your opponent tee off on ya without any offense.

Part of me wants to agree with you but another part of me understands that it's easier said than done to walk straight into a helicopter's blades/windmill/whatever other weird analogy you want to use here to describe how amazing Jon is at controlling the range of his fights.

Well I was busy watching OU not play defense, anything interesting besides the main event upset? (I'm pretending Jones doesn't exist in case you're wondering).

Who do you think wins in a fight of Bones vs Mike Perry?

Jones really is one of the smartest fighters ever and he clearly has plenty of natural ability, but it's impossible to celebrate the athletic accomplishments of someone who can't go a fight without failing a test. It's a shame.

Good on Nunes, though. She's clearly the GOAT now. I hope she never pops.

Jones did not allow Gustafsson to stay in boxing range, Gustafsson was clueless what to do at that point. After that Jones took his mobility with the leg kicks and finished him.

However, until the finish, I was impressed by Gustafsson's TDD.

Gus’s TDD is as good as anyone’s. He’s ridiculously strong.

It just looks like Jon’s boxing defense has sured up a lot, where he used to stick his hand out and just backpedal to get out of those types of exchanges.

This highlights why I always pick against Gus. He really doesn’t do anything offensively outside of boxing, and his power isn’t devastating like Rumble or something.

Nunez is a monster.
She’s going to have a Mighty Mouse run for a long time. Who can even slightly give her a challenge?
Which belt will she give up I wonder?

My guess? That division will be dissolved. There are currently 2 true 145ers in the promotion and Cyborg is most likely leaving when her contract ends in March. They aren't going to keep that division open just for Megan Anderson and Nunes to fight over and over again.

Chiesa looked very fresh, comfortable and convincing against Condit, he was advancing and had the initiative. He's 6 ft 1 and the weight cut became too much for him at 155, he was torturing the last couple of fights to make weight, really took a lot of energy from him. I know Condit's prime years are way behind him (he's not even ranked fighter), but still it's a positive thing for Chiesa.

Mike Perry is not entertaining, nor a good fighter.
