I really have to go watch again, because it really didn’t look like he even got hit when his knee crumpled, but I seem to be alone in that.

Cain got hit but im surprised at how many people are dismissing the knee injury. I mean you see it in Cains face immediately, thats not the look of a man on queer street. Personally i think Cain has been done for years but this was a loss due to injury.

He definitely got cracked by an uppercut that wobbled him.

He got hit, and fell awkwardly is what it always looked like to me. Cain says his knee popped as he tried to step in and grapple him... Either way, should be evidence that it's time to step to wwe.

Ben Askren doesn't think Dustin Poirier has enough leverage to demand title shot or more money from the UFC

Cruz is the worst. "He has literally ated everything Luque's thrown at him."

No insight, just prickliness.

Correctio. Cruz is not the worst, Lloyd Irvin is. And he got his name spoken dozens of times + tonnes of screentime.

He already had 30 fights and was well into his 30s?

Cain was hit three times. Once was during his initial attempt to takedown/clinch and it was on the back of the head. We all know you do not need to generate much power, especially when you of the strength of FN, to throw someones world off when you hit them in the back of the head...ask TJ.
That hit is at the 4 second mark. Slow the video down to it's slowest speed and you see a glancing Hammer fist to the back of his head. I don't think it rocked him, but it's still a hit.

After that Cain keeps trying to follow through and at 5 seconds he gets hit with a short uppercut. The view of this isn't the best in this video because his back is to the camera, but i've seen it at other angles and it's a glancing hit.

Then he drops him at the 7 second mark after slamming home a short right hook. This is at the same time as Cains knees buckle, so it's hard to say if one caused the other or what exactly.

He may not have been out, and been able to continue if he didn't have jelly knees, but his knee buckles the exact moment he's clipped by the hook, so it's never going to be agreed upon and will debatable. Him saying he wasn't hit isn't true though. He was cleanly hit by two grazers, which weren't much, and one serious one that very well could have caused his knee to buckle.

I really couldn’t see the short uppercut that made him drop on first look, but the way his head turned from it, I think that definitely dropped him, and his knees shredded because his body is broken too.

Oh well. Cain’s biggest accomplishment is DC doing him a solid and going to LHW, and letting us see DC fight at two weight classes when he could still be undefeated at HW.

Him saying he wasn't hit may not even necessarily be a lie, he may just not remember it. Who knows? Short or not, the uppercut landed and it was thrown by the hardest hitter in the sport. Not coincidence that was the second his legs gave out.

I don't dispute it at all now, on the first watch, I literally thought he wasn't hit, and his knee blew out from him trying to push Francis against the cage... which sadly, isn't that unbelievable

Also, I don't care what DC says, Cain was NEVER as good at Cormier... at anything in MMA.

Dominick Cruz calls TJ Dillashaw a "weak-minded champion" following the Henry Cejudo fight. Agree?

Francis Ngannou on building the first MMA gym in Cameroon. What an inspiring, and overall good guy.

A interim LW championship bout between the 3rd ranked challenger and a FW. Sounds about right. Fun matchup, though.
