I want to see Wiuff/Mccorkle/Mann but I won't be home until later on.

I think you have to watch them live, otherwise search for them individually around the web next day. Shockley/Bailey is the 2nd best match on the prelims next to Mann/Corey BTW.

Bailey may be the biggest LnPer in the sport, I usually don't watch his fights if I can avoid it. I don't know much about Shockley.

He's got a wrestling background to probably avoid getting taken down overly much, and when he does he's good off his back. And if Bailey predictably lunges at him he's got the guillotine to exploit that. Won by standing guillotine in a last match against a guy with a similar style. I think Shockley wins, in which case there wouldn't have been much l&p involved.

Sweet. TBH I probably wouldn't have watched that or the Wiuff fight if I have to find them individually. That's kind of why I was hoping to see the stream as a whole later on. I want to see the tourney fght regardless, as well as just how massive the Superheavyweight Mccorkle is going to be. lol.

Viacom is handling this whole thing in such a poor manner imo. They are counterprogramming themselves tonight with this Kimbo bs.

**bellator spoilers to follow******************

Sandro would be better if he stuck to his 1-2 and threw his punches down the pipe. He has a ton of power at his weight.

He will randomly get loopy with his punches though, especially when he has his opponent hurt. Less efficient imo.

I thought the Mann fight was a foregone conclusion. Vaguely remember watching Corey fight and was never too impressed, but then again his fight was against Horodecki who weighs more. Impressed with him now though, good gnp, decent combinations on the feet.

I was seriously concerned that Warren would never wake up from that.

Me too. As I've said before, I hate MMA refereeing. Just because there is ground fighting, they've conditioned themselves into thinking that a fight must go to the ground before there is a stoppage. Some fighters never let themselves go down though because they never say die. One of these days they will if this tendency of MMA refs continue.

I said earlier in the thread I thought Corey was an upgrade over Fabiano, in part because of how Corey performed against Horodecki. It was a draw, against a decent an opponent, and Corey would have won if that fight were scored as a whole or he focused on striking when it was time to strike. I liked him before the Horodecki fight as well. He's an underrated well-rounded striker. I bet on him and won 50 dollars. But it was a value bet. I had Mann as a slight favorite. Good on Mike Straka predicting he'd win on MMA Uncensored Live.

BTW, there are still a few pre/postlims airing on Spike.com after the main card. McCorky's just ended. Wiuff should be up soon.

Thanks. Good on you for betting Corey. I was just reading opinions and saw everyone picking Mann. I very vaguely remember being more disappointed in Horodecki than impressed with Corey, but that could have just been expectations on Chris for some weird reason.

And yea, I'm watching the prelims on and off but missed McCorkle just because it went so quick. Between this, tachi palace, and my current dvring of tuf, this is a ridic amount of mma.

Warren did go down, he fell back hard into the cage a bunch of times. That ref is an ****.

Especially painful to watch considering they'd just shown Warren's loving wife 2 minutes earlier.

Prindle fight is out. Moved to next week after getting sick from the weight cut...a weight cut down to 265. LOL

Thius season of Bellator looks kind of amateur hour so far. Back to bad weeks the card has been hurt by guys not making weight. If Prindle can't make weight, why should he be given another chance in a week?

Honestly I love bellator but if I never have to hear the name Eric Prindle again after next week I'll be happy. Haha, just seems like this dude is fighting every other event for them and is used as a punchline anyway for people who don't like bellator.

That's ****.

Santos had prepared to fight this week. Why is it his problem that Prindle can't make weight?

You'd think after Santos forced him to have his nuts amputated, Prindle would have an easier time making weight now.

I'm not really bothered by the delay of the Monster-Prindle fight. Next week's card was looking a little thin so this fight will certainly fatten it up.

*spoiler*

Big flying knee by one of my favorites B-Rog on Vitor Vianna. Rogers is sick. He'd be a good fighter in any organization. Big power, solid striking tech, good counter wrestling, and great athleticism. May have beaten Shlemenko if his hair wasn't pulled to control him. He just won me my first bet of two on the night.

Man, Bellator has developed a strong MW division.

All 4 fighters that advanced tonight are high caliber.

Lombard, if he remains (restricted free agent), is an elite middleweight worldwide.

Shlemenko is a top 15 or so MW, IMO, and very exciting. He's a technical version of Leben.

Houston, Billstein, and Parlo are excellent prospects.

Now they have to supplement their tourney format if they want to keep most of their own finds and add established middleweights like Khalidov and Marquardt (back when he was an FA).
