Its just impossible to compare the guys of today with guys like Marco Ruas.

Love the King of the Streets though. The fact that his age was listed as "??" in the early UFCs is one of the greatest moments EVA.

I don't remember the exact events that he debuted in. But honestly its almost hard to argue that he isn't one of the first true MIXED martial artists out there. Oleg Taktarov is another possibility, although some sambo seems to incorporate everything so that's almost a given. Vitor is on the short list as well, but he came after those guys.

Different weight classes. IMHO Gray has a better chance of getting a UFC belt than Hendricks, although that has a lot to do with GSP being a better fighter than Benson.
