He's definitely not title material in any of the top five or so orgs, but he's exciting and (should he get cut from Bellator) I think UFC should pick him up for cable TV PPV lead-in fodder against guys like Andrew Craig, Leben, Watson, etc. Those all have FOTN potential.

It was cool to see a guy I've trained with once or twice in his corner for that fight (Susan may have as well?). Rogers' head bjj coach. It wasn't cool to see him lose again. Oh well.

Also, the dvr cut out before the last fight. Oh well.

Watson, Leben, and Craig would wipe the floor with Rogers. He is not UFC caliber.

Lots of guys aren't UFC caliber but fight there. Rogers would be the dog in those fights, absolutely, but they're great style matchups and for at least five minutes anyway, Rogers can put away an elephant. If his fights are televised, I'm watching them and Watson/Craig/Leben would all brawl with him.

We just watched a fight last Saturday between Soa Palelei and Nikita Krylov. James McSweeney was involved with the ufc for like 1 and a half years.

There is no such thing as "ufc caliber" anymore. Seriously, regional shows hardly even use "ufc veteran" anymore to promote their fights because its so common at this point. Only the really small shows promote that.

Don't forget the Brazilians with 7-3 records against regional competition. They're not even poaching the 13-0 guys anymore.

Blagoi Ivanov has the most interesting story in MMA, and it's frustrating to me nobody seems to care just because he's in Bellator. It's an individual sport. And his individual journey has been an incredible one. A year and a half ago, he was expected to die from a stabbing to the heart, and told if he did live he almost surely wouldn't return to MMA. Well, he will tomorrow night. That's a HUGE deal. And I hope Bellator doesn't drop the ball and replays his fight, with a little background for it, instead of putting on a billion commercials instead. Although that's what I fear they will do.

Tom Watson? That guy's a **** stud, don't include him as a gatekeeper to the UFC.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Anyone see the crazy comeback last night? I was watching the fight and was wondering how does this guy lose? A couple seconds later I found out.

Do you mean you already had the result spoiled, and were wondering how he could have lost that fight? Or did you not know the result, and how things were going, you didn't see an out for Wilcox? It was an awesome comeback, but I saw an out because I knew Stepanyan had a terrible ground game. My prediction before the fight was Wilcox would win because it would only require one or two td's from him to get the job done. It's akin to when Guillard was thrashing Diaz and Miller, but you still knew the fight can change on a dime. It was more dire here because of Wilcox's knot in his leg, but it's mind over matter, and he also had God in his mind. *points up to the sky afterward* "That's God!" "That's God!".

Pitbull's a stud. He stopped Nunes, which nobody ever had, and he did it easily. Anybody who doesn't rank him in the top 10 is a wanker. He's probably top 5. Bisping and Miller have no problem getting into the top 5 without beating anybody in the top 10, and winning much less decisively than Pitbull. I'd take Pitbull's easy victory over Straus or KO of Nunes over any of theirs. He beat Nunes a lot worse than Lentz and Siver. He should be over them fo sho.

I wish Pitbull was in the UFC so he could shut idiots up. Let's face it, a lot of Bellator's signings and matchmaking lately have been a joke. Squash matches in tourneys, and Vlad-Alexander last night was an abomination. That really soured me further about Bellator, as did them not planning on showing Blagoi's fight (CONGRATS ON THE COMEBACK WIN) on the prelims even, until Yamauchi's quick finish (INCREDIBLE SUB), forced their hand. I think they were going to spite him for flirting with WSOF. Bellator is so spiteful and short-sighted under Viacom, it's freaking soul crushing to someone who loved their direction a year or two ago.

Lol yeah sorry about the vague post. Listening to the commentary and they said he kept losing in the tourneys. His standup was vicious so I should have known how. Hes super fast and he was just tooling the wrestler. And cutting the dude on the back of the head via head kick holy ****. But then they hit the ground and it was a done deal.

Wilcox is fast too. I was surprised he couldn't catch him. But when your opponent kicks that much, you may not need to. I think he finally got a td off catching a kick or Stepanyan being off balance from one.

There are some great highlights from that fight. The wheel kick to Wilcox's dome, the leg kick that flipped him over, and the eventual flash sub by Wilcox. Here's the leg kick that knotted his leg up:

Didn't see it, but Bubba Jenkins lost. Sucks. IDK much about the other guy but he's undefeated. Maybe he will end up being good.

Saunders must be my second favorite fighter. Nobody else puts me on edge like he does besides Anthony.

GD it. Hope we never see those two fight again. Also hope Askren goes to the ufc so Lima can fight someone else. Exciting fighter.

That was BRUTAL. Much more than the last time even.

Killa B. is a good dude. I feel bad for him to take that much punishment. That fight should have been stopped early either due to the original kd and gnp, or the eye closing. Referee Jason Herzog should have consulted the doctor when there was a break in the action. But it seemed like he had a blood lust based on a couple fights tonight.

I keep saying it, Lima may not warrant a top 10 ranking, but he's a top 10 ww worldwide, a top 3 striker at ww worldwide, and probably the hardest hitter. It's not Hendricks. He only beats you with punches. Lima does it with punches and kicks. Hendricks had plenty of decisions, even when he was facing the opposition he was on the come up. So it's not the competition that's creating these efficient ko's for Lima. He's just that big of a hitter. And he's so technical. Mixes it up, uses the jab, throws in combination, keeps the right range, has his hands up, and backs away at distance or stays tight in close. He's just a phenomonal striker.

Agreed. Lima's good but we don't need to see him get Askrened again. Bellator would probably be happier with a champion that doesn't spend most of the fight getting booed.

Meh, MMA fans blow. They were booing War Machine for being on a guy's back and choking him unconscious tonight.

Go watch a toughman competition, freaks.

That reminds me. RZ, make your UFC picks already, so you can't just match my movement and hold your way to a win like your idol Ben Askren.

I haven't had time to do it yet. I'll give you a preview though:

10) Bones
9) Barao

lulz. Several fights that are tossups imo.
