Would have loved if Blaydes stepped to DC there and said you're next!

Are you aware we're no longer teammates. Aka I don't have to be nice to you anymore. Gloves are off!

Yeah I heard, still love Scott and it makes a ton of sense. You guys have an army across that state and while I don't know all of the details, it just seems silly.
Gunna find my way up there pretty soon for a few days I think, I wanna bring my teammate to roll with y'all.

I don't know the details and don't care, frankly. I've been watching Pans all weekend and still root for Brasa CTA even if it's just a habit.
I've trained with Ramses and Jessica (and some other blue belt dude) since the split so I'm glad nobody seems to be too upset about it to the point of being mad at the crosstraining.
Ramses is a monster btw. I feel like our rolls as purple/brown look identical to our rolls as white/blue.

Ok that was impressive as ****, on a guy that Woodley couldn’t put away with one punch.
That was a career changing KO

Happy for Anthony.
Bern, I was wrong, you were right. I am ugly, you are attractive. I'm a little chubby, and you are the perfect body type.

You guys know I love Anthony but seeing Wonderboy so...forcibly removed from the WW mix was kind of rough. I'm a fan of both guys.

Re: Non-threadworthy UFC Events Thread
I watched that straight thru for 9 minutes and my stream froze up while I was thinking it's not looking good but I'm not counting him out. Then when you refresh they show you a frozen stream and it was just Pettis standing there like either the fight was over or it was the end of the round (which would have seemed a little early). Thrilled it was the former, but took a little joy out of it. That would have been fun to be a little shocked by.
He was doing ok with kicks, especially to the leg, but he was hardly getting any punches thru with reach disadvantage and lack of lateral movement. And he wasn't going for td's to see if he could use his bjj advantage. Something I wish he would do more. But I'll take it!
Career rejuvenating win. Frankly since moving back to 155 and up, I think he looked a lot better, although not his prime years still. With more fortune we could have been talking a deserved lw title fight before moving up.

I told you Showtime had a chance! Thank you to Redd for helping me find a place to watch the fight! I screamed when Pettis got the KO and my wife got pissed at me because she thought I hurt our baby’s ears. I guess I have to be better about that, but I was just so **** excited!

There was no mic but me picturing/imagining Blaydes sh*t talking Willis with his stuttering/stammering is awesome enough.
I really like Blaydes.

Re: Non-threadworthy UFC Events Thread
I don't think Pettis should stay at 170 and try to fight for the title. His chances are much better at 155 still. The big wrestlers like Usman especially would hump him, and he'd eat gnp. The longer guys with kicks and who use their range well like Wonderboy would continue to be a tough puzzle to solve, until he solves it. Needs to use this win for good will there. But I'd like to see him beat up another 155/170 lb hybrid like Martin. I don't know that it's sexy, and he's below Wonderboy, but he's went out of his way to s**t talk Pettis a lot, going as far as making false accusations, and is on a heater. I think he'd win that. Then he could move down and maybe be in a #1 contender fight again. Iaquinta would be a good option, if he beats Cerrone.

Re: Non-threadworthy UFC Events Thread
Pettis goes from Poirier to Tony to Wonderboy and is now calling out RDA. Even you haters gotta admit the dude has balls of steel. He def never does the "look for the biggest name with the least skill" thing.

Re: Non-threadworthy UFC Events Thread
Wow
Good for Pettis, wish he wouldn’t have thrown the last punch at Wonderboy though, he was out cold and that last one may have put him on the retirement list.
Pettis is another guy that would benefit from a 165 division. C’mon Dana!
