anyone picking Zion in this is simply flat out Stupid.

Would you also pick Fox over a decorated Kenyan endurance running champ to win a marathon because Fox can sprint fast?

That's what happens when you have an advantage of 2 inches and 8 pounds.

The bigger guy wins the majority of the time, shocking. Force = Mass x Acceleration

You know if they were the same size Paul would still win right? He is a much better boxer...shocking that 2 years of training beats 2 months.

Doens't matter. Martial Arts was designed exactly to equal a seemingly disadvantage.

Even if they had the exact same training, it doesn't negate the natural advantage that is 2 inches and 8 pounds. Right?

*scratches head

Your sentence makes no sense...I just said if they were the same size the out come would have been the same...Paul is a much better boxer, he didn't win just because he was bigger. He didn't even knock him out with a power punch...he hit him with a counter hook - Nate got knocked out because his chin was exposed as he charged in, literally his own weight was what knocked him out.

Did you even watch the fight?

If you actually think that Paul knocking out Robinson is PROOF that Zion would win because the bigger guy won, then you're really out of it. You clearly don't know boxing either lol, like your cute force equation - yes, that would work except Nate was knocked out on a counter punch, so it was literally his own force.

I bet you're bigger than Manny Pac and Nate Robinson certainly is but don't think you two would do too well against him.

When you're talking 100lbs plus advantage, most of that goes out the door.

Like, for comparison. With weight differential, for most people that's like fighting a grade schooler as an adult male.

I don't care how well trained a you are as a 12 year old, the odds aren't on your side. Anything you do doesn't generate enough force to matter, you can't even turn to grappling. It has to be relatively close in terms of weight, for the training to matter.

As someone who has fought both McGregor and Zion, I can tell you from first hand experience that McGregor would win easily. Zion is simply too big for McGregor to handle, all Zion would have to do is sit on McGregor and the fight would be over. That's how the ancient samurai prevented the Bolsheviks from invading Kuwait.

Look, I'm not saying that McGregor would win easily, all in saying is that what's important is that both guys have fun out there and that nobody gets hurt.

So why give your opinion? I mean it's not a good look that the people who are arguing in favor of Zion are admitting they are ignorant.

It's as ignorant as saying Jake Paul = McGregor. But that's not slowing your roll either.

With 6 months of training, Zion would destroy McGregor due to sheer size and power.

Hell - Look at Brock Lesnar. He had no background in mixed martial arts prior to 2007, yet after only 18 months he became UFC champion by effectively bum rushing every opponent with crazy speed and power.

You honestly think you couldn't train Zion in a 6 month period to adapt a Brock Lesnar style of fighting and use a +100lb advantage to destory McGregor.

I feel like we're having a good meeting of the minds here guys.

Discussion is derived from the Greek word "Dessos" which loosely translates to "a cleansing of the soul".

Greece, where the yogurt flows like water.

He had no background in mixed martial arts? I mean sure if we just forget the fact he was the NCAA national champion wrestler and 2x all American wrestler. It's not like wrestling isn't a huge part in MMA or anything...

To make this a fair fight McGregor would have to be blind folded with one arm tied behind his back, then MAYBE Zion would have a chance.

Lesnar won the 2000 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I heavyweight wrestling championship his senior year after being the runner-up to Stephen Neal the year prior. He finished his amateur career as a two-time NJCAA All-American, the 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion and the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion, with a record of 106–5 overall in four years of college

Having a wrestling background when you’re training mma is a huge advantage.

McGregor is a professional fighter.

We have no clue if Zion is skilled in fighting.

Zion is enormous. He doesn't need to be that skilled in fighting when he's 9 inches taller and 100+ pounds heavier. He could pick McGregor up and slam him onto the ground in a back alley fight.

He would have to catch McGregor. And hold onto him. My guess is he would have no idea what would be about to happen to him.
