"I actually think it's kind of cool," he said. "I think eventually what we do is, we're going to continue to add to lighter weights, and you'll end up seeing these (WEC) guys go into the UFC, the 155 pounders.

"To add that flyweight division would dilute that somewhat, and we felt like we needed some time to still catch up with the guys we had. So we're still looking at that, but right now our focus is getting our fighters fights and keeping them in contention for those titles and things like that."

Makes sense, but it would kind of suck for those guys. Maybe the top 5 guys could hang somewhat, but the 6-10 guys in the WEC would likely be out of a job.

This really makes sense considering Zuffa has the same division of fighters in two different organizations. Guys like Henderson and Cerrone are nowhere near BJ, but they do make the division more interesting with more matchup possibilities.

They have a few guys who could hang around the UFC LW division but not really be elite (Henderson, Cerrone, Varner), some good looking prospects that would probably need some time elsewhere before being able to hang in the UFC full-time (Pettis, Njokuani, Roller, Horodecki, Lamas, Darabedyan, Shalorus) and some vets that would probably not cut it in the UFC, but might be able to provide some exciting fights in the prelims (Razor Rob, Palazsewski). It's actually a pretty decent division considering the UFC has the top guys and there are such strong LW divisions elsewhere.

On a side note, there are a couple guys I'd really like to see Cerrone fight. Fisher and Stout, for starters.
