UFC Undisputed 2010

Post#1 » by Posey H8er » Tue May 25, 2010 12:14 pm

UFC Undisputed 2010 is released today. While I'm not a big gamer it has received great reviews and supposedly is much improved compared to it's 2009 counterpart.

I've heard that it's still damn near impossible to submit the computer.

I liked the first game, but that was a major flaw, and it will be disappointing if it hasn't been fixed.

From what I've tried on the demo it's still ridiculously tough. But the transitions have been improved and overall gameplay is excellent.

Lol, why is Fabricio Werdum in this game? Also Dan Henderson is still there.

Last years game was good, but the one part I didn't like was you couldn't do like a career mode with an actual fighter. The cool thing I heard though this year is that you can develop your own camp or join other camps to train and improve your fighter.

I was really excited about it, but the reviews have been discouraging. I'll judge for myself tomorrow or Thursday.

I loved the 09 version but yea the subs where tough... Though I don't know if all games had this, but I found, even if I invested no training points into submission offense, that there would come a time in my career where I could submit anyone, anytime, with very little effort, if I applied it, it would work, no button mashing, no nothing... but that only worked until such time as I shutdown the PS3, then it was back to being impossible. I can remember with 1 guy I was using that once I hit that point, I never shut the playstation down... his career ended with like 23 submissions, it was awesome. I used to love doing that flying armbar one, that was sick, that and the triangle choke...

anyways, I'll defientely be getting this game but I'd love to see some reviews as well to see how she measures up.

Probably going to pick this up today. Really had fun with 2009. The key to submissions last year was getting good position and using the transition block to wear down the opponent. When the stamina fell low enough, apply the sub and it was over, cpu or no.

It shouldn't have been that complicated.

You can knock someone out at any time, the same should go for submissions.

Well, there are flash subs... but I agree, brawling is way too successful.

Haven't played this yet, but I know that was one of the big selling points of the game. The addition of southpaws from last year.
