Cain will be well prepared for this fight and has a good chance at winning. I hope the rest of the card ends up being good. Lookin' forward to it.

I think the pre-fight interviews would probably be even more entertaining than the fight.

I am a big fan of Cain and JDS, but I'm not sure either are ready to fight the Lesnar's and Carwin's of MMA .

Am I weird if I dreamed Brock got kimura'd by Josh Joscheck?

(Disclaimer: This is the first time I ever dreamed about MMA!)

Cain's got the sickest motor in HW division, I think he has a great chance of beating Brock as long as he can stretch the fight without taking too much damage, I see Cain winning but if Brock pulls it off I think he into the p4p discussion, huge fight for both guys.

Yup but he wanted to face much better guys so he's getting it. And I think Tito vs Hamill will really show us where Tito is at right now in his career.

Couple of thoughts: Kind of awkward with Tito/Hamill, Tito was swinging from Hamill's nuts all season on TUF way back when.

Awesome card.

I hope Gonzaga beats the living **** out of Schaub. Gabe needs a win, and Schaub needs to be brought down a notch. Just IMO, of course.

dumb imo, Carwin deserves another shot right away after being one judgment call from winning that fight. What's Cain gonna do, out-grapple Brock? He's got like a 5% chance of winning this fight.

He most definitely does not. He got beaten decisively. The trouble he had Brock in early will make a rematch easy to sell down the road, but in no way calls for an immediate one.

I think Cain's chances are better than 5%, but I definitely see your point about not having a clear path to victory. I think most people are focusing on how bad Lesnar looked standing up, and expect Cain to take advantage of that, much like Carwin did, or to an even greater extent. Makes some sense, but for all of Cain's technique, he is lacking two major things that Carwin had. First, he lacks Carwin's huge punching power. Cain was a guy people were calling "pillow hands" before the Nog fight. Second, he will not be able to nullify Brock's reach advantage the way Carwin did. Just a purely physical thing. Really, Carwin was able to nullify many of Brock's usual physical advantages, merely by being just as big, and I think it may have caused some people to forget that Brock will have those advantages back against anyone else in the HW division.

I can see being diplomatic and guys having to work the ladder, but I just want to see the best competitive matchups and Cain is 27, but Carwin is 35. I want to get him back in with Brock while he's still got it, Cain will get his shot eventually but I dont see how he'll be able to compete giving up that much size so I'm not seeing that as a challenge like Carwin proved he is. Carwin's fists are the heaviest in MMA, Brock was a sliver away from being put away.

Naw man, when you get finished you don't get an immediate rematch. Regardless of the circumstance IMO.

I see the point, one shot at the title and then somebody else steps in, but I thought that was an amazing comeback and I'm really excited to see their rematch, then to go from that to Cain, who doesn't really have any advantages in the fight, seems like a bit let down from Carwin/Brock II
