An AMAZING card!

Garcia will get KO 1 rd'd by Mark. Homineck will be real close to a title fight after that.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Now is the perfect time for a Cerrone/Varner fight as neither are in the title picture and this is the only main event type fight either could put on right now.

I cant wait for Varner/Cowboy 2, I would assume the winner gets Bendo.

My interest in this fight has kind of waned. I thought they should have done it on the Aldo vs. Faber PPV.

I'm sure it will be a good fight, and by the time it rolls around, I'll probably be more interested, but right now....meh.

God, let's hope not. The WEC needs new blood at 155 in the worst way. Isn't everyone as sick as I am of seeing Varner and Cerrone taking turns losing to Bendo?

I would much prefer someone like Shalarus or Njokuani get a shot. Anyone new.

Sorry to break the news, but if Varner wins, he gets Bendo at the WEC year end show in December.

On a sepreate note, Bendo who is a Purple belt in BJJ has basically tore up all the BJJ tourney's in AZ. Varner who is also a Purple is going to start competeing in a gi again. Look for these to meet at the Southwest BJJ tourney in OCT in a gi match.

The LW division in the WEC is awful.

I'm torn. I'd probably naturally root for Cerrone, but on the flip side if the winner gets Bendo, I really don't want to see Bendo/Cowboy 3. Pointless fight.

I don't think a Varner rematch is any more exciting. Bendo cruised through Varnar, and Varner looked average at best in his next fight in the draw (he won) against Shalarus.

I'm not sure what Varner has done to put himself back in title contention other than be one of the 3 names in the division. I'd much rather see someone else thrown in the mix for the title shot.

This reminds me of when Brown, Faber, and Pulver were the only guys getting title shots for over a years while Aldo toiled in obscurity. I'd rather see Njokuani or Roller get the next shot. Let Varner or Cerrone fight their way back to the top instead of just staying there based on name value.

I believe Varner when he says he broke feet/hands in the Shalarus fight.

And this is MMA - fighting a crazy brawler is much tougher than it would be in a sport with less of a scope of techniques. Top kickboxers have had trouble dealing with dudes swinging like madmen.

Agreed. How can these dudes in seriousness call themselves champions???

There's 4 perpetual contenders, none of them ever talking about the UFC.

Cammo, maybe I just don't remember it all too well but I don't recall Varner being too easy for Bendo.

I remember thinking at the time that Bendo got a good looking guillotine and he must have got it at JUST the right moment because Varner tapped immediately without trying to fall forward or fight it at all. I thought Varner was doing well standing up, but again I don't remember it too well.

It is not that I don't think Varner presents a challenge, it is that I am sick of seeing Cerrone, Varner, and Bendo fighting each other like a never ending round robin tourney.

Varner didnt break his hand or foot, he is already back in the gym rolling with the guys. And Varner was easily winning the Bendo fight before he had that brain fart and took that sloppy shot.

Hmmm...I could have sworn that's what he claimed during the press conference and the post-fight interview.

Both could have heeled within a month's time...?

Yeah I thought the same but doubt he could have healed that fast, especially since he's been gi training which really takes a toll on your grips.
