I can't wait for this tonight. Should be another great fight. I think Diaz takes it this time around.

It all depends if Marquez can still take that punch and if his reflexes are still good (age and a higher weight class can slow that down big time. Take a look at Mayweather-Marquez). Marquez would've definitely lost early in their last fight had Diaz had a bit more power. He also spent so much time on the ropes and was an easy target. I'm pulling for Marquez, but I wouldn't be surprised if Diaz won. I'm just hoping for an exciting fight.

Wow this card is solid from top to bottom, it might actually be worth forking the dough for it, nice to see Guerrero back after all he's been through.

Still undecided on whether to buy it or not.
I could probably get it online but I want to see it on the big screen HD.

You can't fault the promoters. At least they tried to stack this undercard with important-ish fights. On paper, this looked pretty good... Now I'll wait my 3 weeks before I get to see it.

Re: Marquez vs. Diaz II 7/31
Went with the online stream and it was pretty good signal. Not HBO, was international guys(Bob Sheridan).
I thought Linares did what he needed to do against Juarez, stay outside and use the jab. I still think he's got a bright future even with the KO loss last year. Juarez will probably go to ESPN fights now. I hate how he always waits...and waits...and waits until he's losing by 8 rounds to try to start a rally. He did it again but not to the extent of the 2 John fights where he almost got the KO.
Guerrero/Casa was pretty dull as expected. I thought Guerrero could've finished him early but he didn't seem to want it. There were moments where he looked pretty good but remembered that Casa is done.
Pirog/Jacobs...WOW. I was very impressed with the Russian. Outboxed Jacobs and landed some good shots on him, including the monster one in round 5. Jacobs may have been rushed but then again Pirog has a similar pro resúme.
Main event didn't live up to hype of course. It wasn't ALL JMM but he won comfortably. A stronger puncher hurts him a hell of a lot more because Marquez got tagged, one eye was about closed shut. Looks like Khan at 140 next and it ain't gonna be close. Khan will use his size/reach and jab him all night. I hope Diaz retires from the sport as he seems to have big plans in his future and he just seems to be declining in the ring as well. Thanks for keeping us entertained throughout the years. Didn't know that he turned pro at like 15 or 16.
