Im watching the Shark fights, and Alexander/Sokoudjou should be fight of the year candidate. That was an epic comeback, and whats with Sokoudjou gassing after not being able to finish.

The card was bland, but Bas/Don Frye are epic commentators. I have never laughed so much for an MMA event.

Can't believe how late that stoppage was.

Maybe it was just lag, but wow seemed really late.

it was def a late stoppage, but you could also argue Houston was out a few times holding that single leg. The ref was horrible all night, they stood up Semtex, while he was bein pressed up against the cage, for no reason.

The judging is still horrible in MMA, anyone who gave Jardine the fight, 29-28 must be examined, and Semtex won the fight 30-27? wow. But thats plagued all MMA, not just the probably bankrupt Shark Fights.

I didn't notice that stoppage was late at all. He wasn't hitting Soko's chin or rocking him. You usually look for a snapping neck. I don't know if the oxygen afterward had to do with the beating or exhaustion.

I can;t believe how hard Soko gassed. He has coasted for so damn long on those early KOs. Getting beat by Alexander? Ouch. Who is Houston even trained by? Just that old dude in his basement (if you saw the hype show)?

Daley looked really mediocre. No fighter stood-out on the Shark or MFC cards, that's for sure. I've yet to watch Shine.

Wow. Shine is a mess. The production value is so damn lame. Was this a PPV? Someone got choked out in one of the fights (I won't spoil) and he was just left to lay there afterwards. The ref had turned his back, there were no doctors, no concern. Without an Athletic Commission shouldn't you be MORE concerned with the welfare of your fighters? Sketchy from start to finsih.
