I would be pissed if I lived in the UK/London. But personally I could care less, they get their PPV's for free and this is like a very good Fight Night card. Hathaway is very talented and I want to see how Hardy responds after his GSP loss.

Condit vs. Hardy will be the best UFC fight of the year. Book it.

As a Condit fan, I hope he tries to take the fight to the ground, don't think he should try to stand with Hardy for too long .

I love Condit.

Well-rounded, and exciting.

I think the majority of the people there (especially the casual UK UFC fans) would much rather see two of their own fight over two other upper tier fighters. I'm going to assume that the popularity of Bisping and Hardy is right up there with that of GSP, Brock and Anderson (in the UK of course).. And yea, they get all their PPVs for free so screw 'em lol.

Super stoked for this one, I was thinking the same, FOTY canidate for sure. Both like to bang both are technical strikers both are freakin warriors nasty as they come.

IDK, I hear a TON of bitching on other forums from UK fans who hate the fact that they get the likes of Bisping shoved down their throats all the time on PPVs, always asking why they can't have any "real" stars headlining the shows, etc.

But I guess the forum members are probably not "casual" fans, so your point may still stand.

I really don't think Bisping and Hardy are as popular as the actual big names in the UFC. Again, might be a casual/hardcore thing though.

Condit vs. Hardy looks pretty good on paper, but I don't think it will be a FOTY candidate. A lot of the time, fights people have pegged as great end up being disappointing. I don't really think Hardy is all that exciting to watch anyway, to be honest.

I dont think Condit's ever been in a boring fight in his life, he'll push Hardy and I think we'll have a classic on hand.

Agreed. Both these guys put on great fights pretty much every time out. The only way this fight is a stinker is if Condit gets caught by a big KO punch early. I don't think Condit has the power to one punch KO Hardy, but Hardy has the power to do it to Condit.

More likely though, this one is a war.

Live in London, trying to go and see this as all my mates flaked out on me for it. I always miss the events at the O2 so would just like to go and see it.

I always end up being disappointed by Hardy's fights. They look good on paper, because he is promoted as this aggressive striker with KO power, but when it comes to fight time, that's not really what you see.

The GSP fight wasn't great aside from Hardy's ability to take a beating/not submit, and I remember being very disappointed in the Swick fight, and somewhat disappointed in the Marcus Davis fight.

Maybe Condit will push him like the other guys didn't, but I'm not going to call it fight of the year just yet.

Even if this is a free card, I don't think that I'm gonna watch it. I'll pick Akiyama and Condit to win but honestly, I'm kinda indifferent on the entire card.

Condit vs. Hardy on a free card is plenty good enough to make me watch. There are few fighters as consistently exciting to watch as Carlos Condit.

^ It's going to be on regular Sportsnet too, if you don't have SN1 yet.

Agree with all but the Cantwell fight. Nedkov looks like a bad, bad man.
