I read some message board speculation that this may lead to co-promotion possibilities with strikeforce.

Definitely some good fights to be made.

I don't see why not. You should have bolded Hector Lombard as well. That dude is very talented.

And while having a deep overall lightweight division, the UFC is missing arguably three of the top guys in Aoki, Alvarez, and Melendez. Although I don't think Aoki will ever fight with the UFC.

This was the most surprising news of the year in MMA. All these reports that Bellator is on life support barring a big TV deal... and they get a bigger TV deal than anyone expected.

Yikes, apparently this was premature.

Bellator will be on MTV2 instead, as the FX deal fell through.

Never heard of him. I know about Askren and Alvarez , and I've seen a few of their fights.
