This was popular last year, so I decided to do it again.

Went with Cain, although I had Cruz right there. Of the above mentioned fighters, Cruz is the only one to fight more than twice in 2010.

Yeah, unlike the previous couple years, it seems most of the elite guys only fought twice this year. That made it harder to narrow to 5.

KOing Big Nog and Brock, was the deciding factor for me. Even though both Cain and Cruz won belts, think wins over Big Nog and Brock are more significant.

I would of picked Aldo if he was on the list.

Also its good you didn't put Silva...his showing in Dubai was disgraceful.

Cain by a landslide.

Voted for Cain, but since he's going to win anyway, I changed my vote to Cruz.

He fought 3 times (vs 2 for everyone else), won a championship and defended it twice.

That said, if you think back to 2010 in a few years, it will probably be remembered as the year of Cain Velasquez, so he does deserve to win.

I voted Cain Velasquez. The Noguiera win was expected but not the ferocity of the win and then the destruction of Lesnar was as impressive a performance as you'll ever see,

Poor Frankie Edgar beats BJ Penn twice and can't get a single vote. Sadly for him, his next fight is on Jan. 1. If he beat Maynard on the last PPV instead, he might be winning this thing.

Velasquez then Edgar then Cruz. Aldo won last year.

Voted for Frankie Edgar.

I thought all four of Velasquez's last wins were this year, upon seeing that they were not I changed my vote to Edgar although it's close between him and Cruz.

Also, Cain's out for most of next year with a shoulder injury.
