:( Guess we will have to wait longer for a UFC return. I would really like to see Nick back in the UFC, he would add great depth to an already stacked division.

Don't want to hear him talk about wanting to fight the best then.

The SF WW division is a joke.

Diaz and the UFC likely neither have interest in the other. Diaz knows he can't beat the top UFC guys, and the UFC has no real need for him.

There are bigger guys out there on the UFC's radar.

I hope he never mentions GSP's name again.

There was a youtube video in the last month or two where Nick was saying that the UFC said they would sign him when his SF contract was up. Not sure how true it was, but I remember watching the vid.

I'm sure the UFC has a little interest, as he is a good fighter. But, IMO they have a lot less interest than a good chank of the fans do in making Diaz to the UFC happen.

Diaz to the UFC seems to be much more of a major fan issue than a Diaz or UFC major issue.

I disagree Cammo. If they have the opportunity to poach a rival's champion, they'll do it. They know their talent pool is bigger and better and Diaz would float in the middle of the top ten. Diaz can't beat top five UFC 170s and he knows this. I doubt he even considered UFC's offer.

In theory, yes. But, the UFC surely remembers what a headache Diaz was the first time around. They have no real need to role the dice on a head case who could start a riot after the bell or fail a drug test any time he is in the octagon.

My guess is Diaz has more interest in the UFC than the UFC has in Diaz. Strikeforce is going nowhere, with or without Diaz.

Wow. It's clear the UFC wants Diaz, just not at the price Strikeforce is paying him.
