I was talking to a friend who trains alot of Pro Fighters......He told me that Kevin Randleman wanted to start his training camp after he's(Kevin) done filming Men in Black 3..(I gues the Monster will be in the new MIB movie)

anyways......

he said Kevin told him that Dream Stage wanted to put on a MMA Event under the Pride banner.....He said something about the UFC's 3 year agreement is up and Dream Stage can put on a Pride event?....

There gonna try to get alot of the old Pride guy's......cross your fingers.

Any Pride fighter worth a crap is now locked into a deal with the UFC or Strikeforce.

Not sure who they could get?.....maybe after the SF Tournament they could get Fedor? Barnett?

I was kind of confused when he told me.....I thought the UFC had the "Pride FC" rights and Dream Stage could'nt use that name?...BUT he said there was a 3 year contract that there could be NO PRIDE event in Japan.....That Contract is now over???...who knows?....It would be great if they could do it.

A Dream show with the Pride name, and maybe some washed up guys like Randleman?

Would be nothing to get excited over.

I thought Dana was talking recently about doing a Pride event in Japan after the reception Best of Pride got?

I'm not saying he would actually do it. What I'm saying is that comment from Dana makes me skeptical that the UFC no longer has the Pride name rights.

Lorenzo was just talking to Ariel Helwani the other day and said something about them being very interested in hosting an mma event in asia by the end of the year. i think he was implying japan but he made no mention of pride.
