The main card is awesome.

You're starting to see the benefits of the merger on the free cards. Penn fighting for free? Heck yes. In a relevant fight? Even better. Of course, Bisping is there so the Brits don't get their knickers in a bunch and he's lined up with a guy he should outpoint, so they'll be pleased. The G-Sot/Siver fight has title implications. If G-Sot wins, he's in the mix with Guillard, Florian, Guida-- the top six or seven guys at LW. If Siver puts an end to G-Sot's streak, he's up there by default. Condit and Lytle... Same. Both guys are coming off huge, impressive wins and this might be FOTY. An impressive win for either might get them a title fight later in the year. Three of the five fights are huge fights for their divisions.

That's weird. I was under the assumption that they can't do PPV's for overseas events because of the time difference, but on their website, they say the event starts at 10PM, which makes sense for a PPV.

I think it will be available on PPV earlier.

From what I remember the last card overseas on PPV you could order live at around 1:00PM or taped at 10:00PM.

By 10:00PM all the results will be known so stay out of this thread if you will be watching it at that time.

The last time I thought was Abu Dhabi (overseas event that was also a PPV)? And the results were everywhere, they still only aired the PPV here at 9 CT/10 ET though, IIRC.

Durrrr, forgot about the Abu Dhabi card, which was definitely a PPV.

I was hoping we'd get Sportsnet to carry it at 1PM like they do with the Brit cards. Ah well.

NVM, this is in Australia, so I think they actually air it afternoon their time in order to suit the U.S. so it can start live normally here.

(at least they did that last time...I think)

I can't believe Penn is a dog in this fight at like +150 or something.

Penn and Shogun both dogs = great bets.

Who the **** is Kyle Noke? Nevermind Chris Cammozi...

5 great fights (including Pearson vs Fisher).

I'm sick of Lytle always looking for "wars". Condit is no nonsense - not looking to mix-it-up, just looking to win. Good. Fight to win.

That said, don't be Jon Fitch.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Noke was on TUF 1 or two seasons ago. Supposed to win it, but didn't.

Did you mean don't bet on Jon Fitch? Or bet against?

Please flip Pearson vs. Fisher for Noke vs. Cammozi. The former is a great matchup between two exciting LWs, and is really a perfect opener for the PPV. The latter is clearly for the live audience, who will see it no matter where it is on the card.

I'm not sure what to think about Penn vs. Fitch. I've already gone back and forth a few times. At first I thought Fitch, but I'm not sure he has the striking necessary to keep Penn off balance enough to take him down. So then I like Penn. But with Fitch's style, he really only has to get one takedown per round in two of the three rounds to win the fight.

Really looking forward to the Condit vs. Lytle fight.

Bisping and Sotiropolous are a level ahead of their opponents and should win somewhat easily, but the matchups are decent and could provide entertaining fights.

Calling it now, Condit/Lytle for FOTN.

Hope Rivera beats Bisping.

Sot will submit Siver.

For 110 they had the fights around midday Sunday in Australia so it aired the normal time live on Saturday in the United States and Canada. They did tape delay for Abu Dhabi.

Penn/Fitch will be an exciting fight, even with Fitch. I don't care much about the Bisping fight because I would rather see Bisping fight someone better. I think Rivera is a downgrade from Akiyama. George Sotiropoulos is one of my favorite fighters so I'm stoked to see that one. And Carlos Condit could be the next big thing in the UFC 170 pound division.

Sadly it appears Condit won't be fighting. Knee injury. :nonono:

This sucks. Condit is one of my favorite fighters and this card really needed that Condit/Lytle fight.
