Tito needs to just go away. The guy seems more interested in talking trash on Twitter than fighting.

This whole thing worked out perfect for the UFC.

Tito realized Lil Nog is pretty good, and Tito doesn't want to be unemployed....

Bad matchup for Lil' Nog. If he can't handle Brilz what hope does he have against Davis?

Dammit. I wanted to see Tito lose again. If there is one guy I dislike more than Dana White its Tito Ortiz. At least I can respect Dana White as a businessman.

And now Jason Brilz meets replacement Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 129 in Toronto. The card in T.O is awful other than GSP and Aldo fights.

Other than having two of the top 3 p4p fighters in the world, the most recent UFC LHW champion, the most recent WEC LW champion and a guy who always brings it in Nate Diaz, the card is garbage.

What more do you want? BJ Penn on the undercard?

The third fight on the card contains Randy and Machida. How far back in time would you have to go to find fights where those guys weren't main or co-main events? A decade? Longer?

Exactly. These Toronto fans have a sense of entitlement that rivals being a Yankee fan.

I'm not trying to say anything about Toronto fans as a whole, but its more than a little silly to complain about a card with:

1) GSP, #2 p4p at WORST.
2)Aldo, most people's #3 p4p.
3) Randy - HOFer, been in main events since like UFC 20, LHW and HW champ.
4) Machida, was considered untouchable until Shogun fight, previous LHW champ.
5) Shields, dude hasn't lost in like 8 years.
6) Nate Diaz - TUF winner and always exciting.
7) Benson Henderson, previous WEC LW champion.
8) Rory McDonald, solid prospect, was decently close to beating Condit in first ever UFC fight.

Compare that to UFC 127:
1 former champion
Nobody in top 5 p4p
...

Uhhh that's it.

Brilz/Matyushenko is a fight I wouldn't actually mind seeing. It's not bad for a 4th or 5th maincard fight. I mean, it's not as good as Davis/Hammil, but it is what it is. GSP, Couture, Machida, Aldo. Not much to complain about there.

Couture V Machida should be flip flopped with Jones V Rua! I am not interested in watching 750 year-old Couture make a fool out of himself in front of 50,000+ fans. (Time to hang them up, Randy or at least go out on your home turf)

Brilz vs Matyushenko is huge down grade compared to Hamil/Davis and shouldn't be on the main card.
they should bump Diaz v McDonald to the main card ( at least it's a little better)

Again, other than Aldo, GSP fights it's an underwhelming main card ( don't care about the under card) considering that it's in T.O and 50,000+ tickets sold, yes we deserve more! (Pettis should be on this card!) Having said that, I'll still be watching just like everyone else who's not a fan of the card.

Posts like these make you come off as such a troll. There's no need to generalize an entire fan base off one poster.

There's a lot of good fights. If you haven't heard of some of the other guys on the card look into them.

I disagree, i think they could have done better. Considering we're the Mecca of MMA, we should have got better, but Dana realizes they could put just about anyone on the card and it will sell out.

I live in toronto and I am happy with the card.

I think the people that dislike it are casual fans and only like big name fighters..well thats what it seems like to me.
