Roy Jones Jr. KTFO

Post#1 » by blackbishop » Mon May 23, 2011 3:02 pm

How far the once mighty roy jones has fallen. It is quite sad. He could have died from that punch that ref should be arrested.

Lebedev should have been arrested for throwing that gutless punch after the ref moved in to stop the fight. What a sorry excuse for a human being. Jones was clearly defenseless and out on his feet.

He's not only embarrassing himself and his career, he is now starting to embarrass his country.

Lebedev clearly didn't want to throw the punch. The ref should have stopped the fight as soon as Roy hit the ropes. He could have cocked back and killed him if he had truly bad intentions. He probably did him a favor by knocking him down because the ref sure wasn't concerned.

ROY WAS one of the greatest boxers of our era, I hate to see him go out like this. After the Glen johnson KO some years ago, roy said he never felt the same since. I felt he should have ended it there if he was having problems..... This should be it for roy. He didn't even look to be in typical, roy Jones physical shape..

that is sad, to have to fight for money as you get older.. guys like glen johnson and hopkins are different. They don't need the money and they fight because they still love to, and can...

Anyone think that Anderson Silva would still get KTFO in a fight with Jones Jr.?

He came back too fast after Tarver knocked him out....not for nothing, but B Hop has to be on roids...no way he's fighting at light heavy weight against the best fighters, going the distance, and wining if he wasn't.

Smoger is the ref who allows the most unnecessary punishment in boxing...and it's not even close. A lot of people have had their long-term health compromised by that douche. They should re-name 'pugilistic dementia' after him.

huh. I'd be surprised. he could make mid-six figures outside of the ring with commentating and so on, I'm sure. he's not making that much more fighting...and, long term, this is definiteyl losing him cash.

he will not get back in the ring for the money. it would be stupid. he'd get next to nothing at this point. who is going to pay?

I still think so. Anderson Silva has improved alot in his boxing skills but i still give it to a much more experienced RJJR
