Manny wants to fight on HIS terms. Why should the best boxer in the game fight on someone else's terms? Dogs come to Floyd, he don't chase em.

Exactly. Male dogs have to chase after the b!tch they want just like men have to chase after the women they want. Mayweather is the b!tch and once Pacquio gets him in the ring he'll make Mayweather his b!tch. Run while you can Floyd. You're getting older and you can't run forever.

of course he doesn't chase them, he runs away from them.

and you're delusional if you think this dude is gonna come in, inactive as hell, and is going to be "the best boxer in the world."

would not be the least surprised if ortiz knocks him out.

Anyone who saw Ortiz beat Berto could have predicted that Ortiz would be Mayweather's come back fight.

With Mayweather's spending habbits he will eventually run into financial trouble again. Then he will fight Manny to save his a$$ from debt. Just watching his 24/7's guy pays someone to hold his jewelry while he trains and he has about 8 bodyguards following him. Those don't come cheap.

Victor Ortiz >>>>>> any fighter that Pacquiao has beat at 147 with the exception of Cotto.

And that's coming after that Cotto/Margarito fight (hands of granite fight) that COMPLETELY changed what kind of fighter Cotto was. Cotto was never the same after that and I don't think he ever will. I think Ortiz will be the best fighter either has fought, since the both of them have begun fighting at 147-154. Floyd demolished Shane and JMM as did Pacquiao. Both beat Oscar. Ortiz is a BEAST. Reminds me of Vargas in a sense. Vargas always looked like he should be a champion until the championship fight came. He always lacked that intangible, or was a little less skilled.

Ortiz seems to be the same. Floyd might even knock Ortiz out. Ortiz has a suspect chin and I expect Floyd to finish him in maybe the 9th or 10th.

wow... 2 years ago everyone was calling ortiz a b1tch for quitting vs maidana, and now all of a sudden he is better than anyone who pacquiao has fought? sugar shane? clottey? margarito?

the fight makes sensee bc it is a risk for both fighters but only because floyd hasnt fought over a year (as usual) and ortiz has a belt so floyd can say hey its a title fight, and ortiz can say hes fighting the best fighter at 147. if i was ortiz i wouldve took a few more fights at 147 b4 going at the top 2 but i guess these type of opportunities dont come often.

floyd by ud, i think floyd wins most if not all rounds, and then we can all sit and wait till mid 2012 to see what #3 ranked fighter floyd fights next

9/2009 - jmm
5/2010- mosley
9/2011- ortiz
thats not the resume u expect from a "p4p king"

ortiz is one of my favorites, but I don't like this fight for him.. floyd will just frustrate him and outbox him....

I like this matchup. It'll be interesting to see if Floyd has the power to back victor off of him.Floyd will likely win but I'll be putting money on Ortiz. Athletic southpaw, with power in both hands who punches in combination and doesn't have stamina issues? If you look at the way Floyd holds his hands he can be susceptible to straight lefts and right hooks (if you can get it over his lead shoulder). Floyd showed that he can get hurt in the Mosley fight ,with Shane out of the picture I think victor is the hardest hitter in the division. Can't hate on this one.

I think you got that ass backwards

Manny been agreed to standard boxing rules, its Floyd whos insisting on silly stipulations (Manny even agreed to some of those too) to avoid Manny and have an excuse.

I wouldn't get my hopes up...

With that said, I'm still pretty excited for this fight. And Pac/JMM should be much more entertaining than the Pac/Mosley crap
