I'm not even sure if I'll be able to watch the Griffin/Shogun fight. HATE seeing either lose.

Me too, but I'll be rooting more for Griffin since most Shogun fans have never given him credit for the first win.

I think that Pearson vs. Barboza fight is an awesome matchup, but yeah, Pearson is probably in for it.

Don't think it's the strongest card all in all, but the Brazilian crowd should eat it up.

^ Really? I think it's a great card. Any Silva fight is a must watch, and both Forrest vs Shogun and Nog vs Schaub are very intriguing. The remainder of the main card/prelims are also solid

H5, I can dig what you say about the first Shogun/Forrest fight.

Sweet card, although I'd probably rather see most other fights on the main before the Luiz Cane fight, although maybe the other guy will be exciting, never seen him fight.

It's a great international card, and not horrible by any standard, but I'm not particularly excited about Silva vs. Okami (though of course a Silva fight is a must watch), and Schaub vs. Big Nog doesn't do much for me.

Not complaining or bashing the card though, was commenting more on how it's a card the Brazilian fans should eat up. They are lucky to be in a time zone that works for PPV. England/Australia don't get cards like this.

I see Nog/Schaub going a lot like Cro Cop/Barry, in terms of a late sub. I think The Hybrid will stand and trade, think he's doing well and gets cocky. Then somehow the fight will end up on the ground and Nog will take him to school in a matter of seconds.

Nog's so God damn old and slow and he's here with a serious reach disadvantage. He's going to get KOd easily, IMO. It's going to be another sad end to a vintage fighter.

The Countdown did a pretty good job of selling Okami, arguing that he'd compensated for each of the two UFC losses he's had by focusing on strength and wrestling respectively. Hmmm. What's the deal with he and Chael, though? Is that hype...is the UFC paying Chael to bring some animosity into the fight somehow? Will Chael be in Okami's corner? Why? What is he thinking?

My only prediction is that if Forrest loses in a damaging way that he retires. Hell, Shogun might retire himself if he suffers a similar loss. His brother just did. As much of dumb mule as Forrest wants to be, he's a guy thinking about his long-term plans. He's been shut off a couple times already.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Chael and Okami go way back, there are training videos of them all over the web to be found pretty easily.

Chael isn't going to go because he doesn't want to take the focus off of Okami. Said he doesn't want to have Okami inadvertently booed for having Chael in his corner. There is another story where some sheriff supposedly said he would arrest Chael for slandering the country, but not sure if that is true or just rumor by Chael.
