Jim Miller vs Ben Henderson should be headlining this card. arguably two of the most underrated mma fighters and two top-10 lightweights.

Some really good fights on there.

I agree that Miller vs. Bendo should be the main event, since Miller probably gets a title shot if he wins, and Bendo gets very close to one if he does. That being said, Hardy vs. Lytle is a pretty awesome fight, and probably a better draw as a main event, so I get it.

Benavidez vs. Wineland should be on the maincard, it has title implications. Dollaway vs. Hamman?

Sadollah vs. Ludwig could be amazing.

I'm excited to see Cerrone and Oliveira.

Cerrone has looked really good lately, and he might smash Oliviera, but I dig watching the kid fight.

Yup, he's really aggressive as well and I dig that. I met him this summer at a TapOut promo party and he was cool as hell. Hope he continues his wining streak.

Also, love Dan Hardy and know he is a very marketable fighter, but he should not be headlining, that's insane.

Dana basically admitted that Hardy would be cut if Dana didn't like him so much, now he is the headliner. Kind of weird.

Cowboy vs. Oliveira looks like a fight of the year candidate. I'm not so sure Cowboy should even be the favorite in this fight, let alone run through Oliveira.

Cowboy's wrestling has looked really, really good as of late. His wrestling display against Jamie Varner was awesome considering Varner's credentials. I'm not positive Oliveira can get it to the ground.

With that said, Oliveira's muay thai is surprisingly effective. That should be a nice little scrap.

Cerrone got in C-4's head by continuing to charge him. Most opponents would have made Cowboy pay for it, but for someone with Varner's mental fortitude it was the perfect gameplan. So I don't think avoiding the takedown in that fight or securing them applies to future matches, although his wrestling did appear to improve between the two Bendo fights (before he got submitted). But it's not at the level where he could take down Do Bronx regularly enough. Even if he did, Do Bronx could sweep or submit him from the bottom. On the feet, Oliveira has a discernible advantage with his power, athleticism, and better defense. This is one of those fights where one fighter has an advantage over the other in every conceivable area, therefore you should bet on him. I think Oliveira will be a slight underdog for this fight as well, so it'll be awesome value.

RZ, are you planning on attending? I'll probably buy later because they won't sellout and I'm not going to spend on the best seats anyways.

I think Oliveria is better than Cerrone both on the feet and on the ground. Cerrone might be the more technical striker, but he has a complete lack of KO power that offsets it.

Should be a good fight, but I am defiantly taking Oliveira to win.

I was also referring to Cerrone's wrestling in both the Horodecki fight and his latest fight where he was able to dictate where the fight took place in both instances.

Also, at first I was not certain about your assertion that Oliviera would have a discernible advantage on the feet (although I was very impressed with his muay thai in this past bout). But then I look at Cerrone's record and he has never won a fight by ko or tko? That is absolutely shocking to me. Not sure why, but I always considered Cerrone's kickboxing one of the better parts of his game. I know he likes to soften guys up with strikes and then submit then on the ground but still, surprised by his lack of striking victories.

Also, as for attending, at first I definitely was. Now I'm not so sure. I live in the Twin Cities area now, and once I realized it was on a Sunday, it kind of put a damper on my hopes to attend. If it was on a Saturday I could have came and made a weekend out of visiting the fam.

This looks like a sweet card.

I wonder if Oliveira is ready for Cerrone.

Miller/Henderson is gonna be awesome. Jim Miller's relentless, great offense, and Henderson's as unbreakable and durable as they come. Probably a wash on the ground. Can't wait.

I got my nosebleeds. I'm hoping the crowd represents Milwaukee well and isn't a bunch of drunken, easily dissatisfied boo'ers like they've displayed before or Philadelphians were last week.

Like I said I'm betting on Oliveira, and if I win, I attended the event for free. Yes, Oliveira is ready for Cerrone. He's faced Jim Miller before and was winning before he got cocky. I'm sure he learned from that. Either way, Cowboy is inferior to Jim Miller.

Speaking of Miller, I think he beats Bendo on the same night, in a comfortable but competitive decision. He's a better striker and probably will have good enough TDD and sweeps to take advantage of that. But there is a part of me who is still leery about his ability to beat top 5 lightweights, because he's lost to both he's faced, and he doesn't stand out in any one area. Good for him Bendo is kind of in the same boat.
