I couldn't watch more than a minute or two of that. Not necessarily because I'm so opposed to seeing teenagers fighting, but it's just so far removed from the Shogun we know that it seems pointless. Maybe a real fan of his would find it more interesting.
I doubt they would want this video coming out though. Seeing a former champ as a teenager fight in a crowded basement is not a good look for the UFC.

im not sure why this would be bad for the ufc. yes, shogun is green, if anything, it helps promote shogun as one who worked hard to be the skilled fighter he is today.
this is brazil. they fight like dogs any where possible. Chute Box was built on grimy fighting and perseverance. I wouldnt doubt for a second legends like wandy fought in some random basement
For example, Nam Phan use to fight in random basements to make a living. He had to sign a "contract" he was a actor and the basement was a "set" for a film. This was cause if the cops came to investigate, they had documents that claimed it was a movie set even though it was fighting ring
UFC is a fighting sport. Therefore, one would expect some of the competitors to fight in some illegal manner in the past

I don't doubt it happens, and the fact that it does doesn't really bother me, but having kids fight in basements is one of those things the UFC has to fight against. The whole human cockfighting thing.
Maybe they don't care, but from a PR standpoint, I don't see how it could reflect well on them.

I bet that loss as a teen is what fueled him to become a MMA legend. Even with the pounding he took from Jon Jones, he came back strong and knocked out Forrest Griffin. Can't wait for Shogun vs Hendo.

Shogun is like the redemption king. Prior to Bones, had avenged every loss he's ever had except for Babalu. Unfortunately that fight would never happen because Babalu probably wont be back in the ufc, trains with Shogun now, and has dabbled in lower weight class.

this "basement" fight, is the belt exam and there is professors of two muai thai academies, at least it is what is said on the description.
this happened years ago, i bet they didnt have a better place to do the exam
this is not looking like a illegal fight ring at all if you're wondering and i think the "perseverance kid" and etc is the true history to be taken out off it
