His was the first front kick to be done and he did it to arguably the best striker in the division.

I know it's Bellator, but Vila's KO over Warren.

I haven't voted because I can't quite decide. I like all 3 of the posted ones better than the Nog KO though.

Kongo vs Barry and this isn't even close. coming back like that? no other KO this year has that much heart and crazy emotional swing. Also I was rooting for barry. ffs

There certainly were a lot of great KOs this year. I considered all the ones posted in the thread.

For KO, I tend to look more at the actual act than the circumstances around it, and how clean it was, so something like Barry vs. Kongo, while cool as hell, doesn't do it for me, nor does something like Zaromskis' kick, because it took a bunch more shots to actually put the guy away.

I think Machida's was the best, followed by Silva.

Stout on Ives was my fav this year.

Went with Kongo only because of the comeback aspect of it.

Makdessi's spinning back fist was serious.. The Zaromskis kick was neat but I couldn't vote for it for the reasons CPT mentioned. Another really tough decision but I think I'd have to go with Silva's kick for the 'wow' factor and given the hype going into the fight. Kongo was a very close second.

gotta go with silva because it was the first, and it was against a tough rival, remember the weigh ins? epic all around fight.

I liked the Makdessi KO the best of the ones listed. I thought both Guillard and Condit had phenomenal KO's of Dunham and Kim this year. I also enjoyed the Diaz/Daley KO, especially because it came after arguably the greatest round of the year and it's always nice to see a fighter go to the body to set up the KO.

I actually vote the Travis Browne KO because at one point I'm pretty sure Struve's body is perfectly parallel to the ground as he's falling unconscious.
