I'll vote for Rosenthal because I can't remember him **** up in any huge ways this year.
I still think Dean and McCarthy are good refs. Can't remember enough of Goddard or Herzog's fights, which is probably a good thing.

Herb has been iffy on a number of calls this year it seems. he's still great at his job though.

Rosenthal is the best referee for fans who want fighters to be given every opportunity to win and keep fights long and enjoyable.
But fighter safety should be at the forefront of a referee's mind, as it is for Herb, who also is reasonably fair and doesn't egregiously err, so he's my pick.

Guess you didn't see Herb let Bedford take about 6 unnecessary hammer fists, after Dodson knocked him out in the TUF semi's ?

No, I don't watch much of that TUF crap, but from what I read about the incident it was kind of ugly but happened really fast.
However, I did happen to catch the tail end of the reality show finale when Rosenthal allowed Brandao to senselessly beat Caraway about the head for 2 minutes. That is Rosenthal's MO.

Can we get some Rosenthal/Dean bizarro ref in there that doesn't step in too early like Dean and doesn't step in too late occasionally like Rosenthal?
Oh, and make sure he has Rosenthal's eyes for not missing taps as opposed to Mr. Dean.
