Man, that 205 tournament is probably the most interesting thing in MMA right now.

Not good.

More interesting than "Daniel Cormier reacts to Conor McGregor’s altercation with Machine Gun Kelly"?

I much prefer the Black Mirror episode that is the Paul Brothers/Triller Fight Club than that hot stupidity.

Yoel did nothing for 2 rounds and then got beat up in the 3rd round.

Then thought it was suppose to be 5 rounds and was complaining about that. Then One judge scored him the win.

What a mess

Damn, Romero is a legend. That defensive striking is insane and beautiful and effective. The guard changes, hand fighting, angles. Davis landed nothing (*maybe* one right hand, but it was largely rolled-off). I'd watch that all day,

Obviously he lost but as a result of wrestling and being old, surely.

His defense and counter shots are great but a lack of wrestling and pushing the pace has cost him maxing his potential and being a champion.

Pretty crazy he started this at like 36 or whatever.

Edit - never realised his win over Luke was a title fight but he missed weight. That sucks.

It was a hell of a combo. He still has the technique and fast hands.

I wasn't into the idea of Fedor fighting for years, but that invigorated it a bit. Tim Johnson may be tailor-made, but he's no can.

Someone bandied about the idea of a match w/ JDS, & I'm into it. One we weren't able to see, & they both still have a pulse.

LOL. John McCarthy waxing about how Tim Johnson has improved "getting his head off the center line" (the most generic striking insight ever)...just as Johnson stands at range and leans straight forward with his face into a 3-punch combo. No one worse than Big John, no one.

Early stoppage in that Queally vs Pittbull fight (the ref has to consider that Queally uses a high guard so is never showing active defense in the sense of moving his head...his defense at the best of times is just to cover up). But nevertheless LOL back-to-back stoppages for the Irish in Ireland is very funny. That arena was dead silent.

It's cool that he restrained himself from dealing out unnecessary damage at the end there.

AJ really fumbled the back yesterday. Really talked a lot of **** this week and lost.

His corner also did an awful job. Told him he was up 4-0 when he clearly wasn’t. Complete delusion.

Corey Anderson also got completely screwed out of a mili

Aaron Pico fought last night, disclocated his shoulder like 90 seconds in and his Jackson Wink coach spent the minute between rounds shredding every last ligament in his shoulder with every bit of force he had in his body.

MMA, please never change.

Dude had the second best left hand in the sport (Pereira #1). Some significant amount of that is vision and timing. But you need a healthy shoulder too.
