I think Silva wins this easily. Sonnen looked average against Bisping and Silva wont make the same mistakes as before.

Sonnen did not move well against Bisping, coming off an impressive performance against Stann. I also thought he had a tough cut against Bisping, and I doubt traveling to Brazil will help that any.

I see Silva winning.

I also think a healthy Silva that no longer has to prove he can beat Sonnen with BJJ will win this fight.

Definitely can't count Sonnen out completely though.

Sonnen is very brave or very stupid to take this fight in Brazil.

Answer: Neither.

Sonnen would look like the ultimate coward if he refused the fight or the location after all the **** talk against Silva for dodging him.

I want Silva to destroy Sonnen.

No chance Sonnen wins this time.

No, Sonnen is courageous for doing this,

He could turn it down without shame. He once even said he wouldn't fight Silva in Brazil, I think. The security concerns are major.

G.W. could have toured the Gaza Strip and been in less danger.

I'm shocked people arent rooting for Sonnen. This is a crazy underdog fight, all the odds against him. It would be amazing if he won.

Silva mark here, no way I'd cheer for Sonnen.

I don't mind Chael, against you know, a Brian Stann.

This fight will cement Anderson's legacy and I am convinced he knocks out Sonnen in Brazil and that will be that.

Anderson has NEVER lost a UFC fight.

Also, I don't want a cocky NCAA wrestler mouthing off to an A-1 martial artist and have him lose after all that smack talk.

Chael will have it put on him, like he's never had it put on him before.

Two scenarios would make me pleased:

Sonnen winning somehow because the internet would explode and I like dogs
Silva absolutely ruining Sonnen

Fine with either.

He shouldn't have run his mouth if he was so concerned for his safety. reaping what he sows, comeuppance, etc. That being said, UFC will beef up security for him and hopefully Sonnen has enough non-troll brain cells to keep it simple and civil if he wins.

No matter what he has said, nothing warrants any violence outside of the cage towards Sonnen. Let's be real here.

I don't wish violence upon him by anyone other than ASilva. But not taking this fight in Brazil is unacceptable. If he had the balls to trash Brazil, ASilva, his wife, etc. then he should have the balls to fight in Brazil.

Oh I know. I was responding to High5 with a contrarian post.

No amount trash talk means you MUST be put in that situation. I'm as critical of Sonnen as anyone, but I wouldn't have thought any less of him for not fighting on that particular card. But he took the fight and that was a brave thing to do, like I said. Odds are nothing bad will happen, but if anything ever were to happen this would be the most likely instance.

Haha, what if Sonnen goes hulk and smashes a couple dozen Brazilian citizens on his way to the cage?

When trash talk is the main reason you're getting the fight, and you already lost once, then yeah, it kinda does.

I still have a bit of respect for Sonnen, but it would decrease dramatically if he refused to fight in Brazil.
