Some good fights on there (Dodson vs Da Silva!), but this continues the pattern of Fuel events getting more star power than FX. Guess they gotta get those subscription numbers up somehow.

Is it just me, or do I always feel bad for super big guys.

Shawn Bradley, Wang Zhizhi, Great Khali....

I always feel like they're pushed into fighting because of the size.

Browne is poised for a huge rankings jump with this one, and I think he wins.

Pretty damn weak. Nunes and that Dodson vs touted Brazilian guy? That's about it. Is Browne the guy who KOd Struve or something well I don't care.

Totally. I do worry about that as well.

Hallman 7 pounds overweight. Fight against Tavares off.

Hallman will be done, I'd imagine.

I've met Hallman in person a couple of times and I don't remember him looking anything more than 175 or so at that time. Granted, it was at grappling tournaments so it's possible he had cut weight but he didn't look particularly in shape or anything. I don't think he was cutting much weight at all when he was fighting at WW and he was probably on a serious BJ Penn diet when he had fights at middleweight. I can't imagine that cutting down to 155 would have been very difficult for him if he stuck to a clean diet and spent even a little bit of time in the sauna. Missing 155 TWICE is puzzling to me, when I've seen much bigger (and less experienced) guys do it with ease.

How old is Hallman? I've never cut weight, but my understanding is that it gets harder as you get up there in age, and Hallman's been around awhileee.

I was suspicious after his last win when he missed weight by a ton and he came out and said lw is for sure his weight class? Meh.

Hallman's 37 or something and he's officially released. He said he's been having personal problems and wasn't fit to fight. Dana's paying him win AND show money, so he's probably not lying about that.

Would be nice to see a final fight with Matt Hughes, if he's still not 100% retired, assuming Hallman can work out his issues.

Yeah, I figured the plan was always to have Hallman be the last stop on the Matt Hughes retirement tour. Moving to 155 threw a wrench in that, and now he's been released.

A lot of close matchups on here, and the top 3 fights on this show are all pretty interesting.

This picture really bothers me.

Look how much bigger Silva's head is. The tops of their heads line up and then Silva's chin just keeps going. Looks like a friggin photoshop. I know he's got a condition, but it's still kind of jarring to look at.

Wow. I never thought he had a huge head until I saw this pic.

That weigh-in between Silva and Browne was one of the best of the year.

Silva is either really pumped up and is looking avenge Cain's destruction of him,
or he generally doesn't enjoy Browne's cocky swagger.

Yeah, when Silva put his giant mug about 1 cm in front of Travis' face, you could see Browne in his head thinking,
"Damn, this guy has a big head."

And Browne, with his roots in the islands, has a skull that's probably ten times harder yet only half the size.

What, weird? Dana seems like a no excuses-type, so that's remarkable. Keep us updated.

Wherever I am in the world, I make sure I'm in front of a TV when Jacob "Christmas" Volkmann fights.
