This card is a steamy pile of garbage outside of the main event, which will take roughly a minute.

That's how long I expect it to take for Rousey to take Kaufman's arm off.

I think that's a little harsh but this is definately more of a Strikeforce Challengers card than a major Strikeforce card.

I hope that Rousey and Tate both win, so we can see a rematch. I'd be suprised if either lost.

According to mmajunkie.com

MAIN CARD (Showtime)

Champ Ronda Rousey vs. Sarah Kaufman (for women's bantamweight title)
Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza vs. Derek Brunson
Lumumba Sayers vs. Anthony Smith
Roger Bowling vs. Tarec Saffiedine
T.J. Cook vs. Ovince St. Preux

PRELIMINARY CARD (Showtime Extreme)

Julie Kedzie vs. Miesha Tate
Bobby Green vs. Matt Ricehouse
Adlan Amagov vs. Keith Berry
Germaine de Randamie vs. Hiroko Yamanaka

What the f***. Why is Miesha Tate's fight on the prelim card but Lumumba Sayers vs. Anthony Smith on the main card?????

Because that fight's gonna end in a KO and the Tate fight could very well be a pitter patter slap fest like much of women's MMA.

At some point they are going to have to realize that women's MMA is their bread and butter, and start booking it properly. No more #1 contender fights on prelims, and no more #1 contender fights between women the majority of viewers have never seen.

I'm not even a huge women's MMA fan, but it's going to be the only division they can promote as the best in the world, so they might as well start treating it that way.

When is Guyborg coming back?

The female fights on this card are the only fights that I care about.

Strikeforce is long overdue to become a female only promotion. Move the men who matter to the UFC and start going with all female card. 5 weight class: 145, 135, 125, 115, and 105 lbs.

Unfortunately they've been pissing around for too long and now Invicta seems well on its way to doing what Strikeforce should have done.

Strikeforce has a TV deal and the only females with name value in MMA. I suspect they would have no problem with Invicta if they decided to go this route.

Strikeforce airs their prelims on Showtime Zone or something and they consider the last fights the "Main Event" of that show (which is still the prelims, but you have to change the channel, so...)

Anyway, just explaining. The ME of the last show was the Healy fight. It's an interesting idea to try and get people to watch the prelim broadcast, but I feel like people don't and then you have contenders looking less established. Interesting though.

From what I've heard, if more people watched that Healy fight, he probably wouldn't be getting a shot at Melendez.

Well that makes sense in a way but at the end of the day its the Showtime ratings that matter. That's where all the eyeballs are going. Only hardcore fans are going to be watching the prelim shows and I am pretty sure the numbers bare that out. So what's the point.

I usually don't post pre-fight hype videos, but I thought that this one was very well done:

I am very progressive and very pro-wimmin and probably a homosexual, but I can't watch Meisha Tate strip out of a gown into pink panties and a black satin bra without my dick thumping the inside of my boxers.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
