Good news for Winnipeg.

Leaning slightly towards Maia UD. Rory could win this violently, for sure, but I'm finding it hard to go against Maia after the Fitch win.

Don't care for the two headlining fights much... 3 of the 4 were in miserable fights lately and 3 of the 4 are coming off a loss. Shogun/Hendo, sure, but interest in that is dwindling.

Maia/Rory could look like Maia/Fitch...or (god forbid) it could look like Maia/Wiedman.

That's one of the best maincards I've ever seen. They're giving it to Manitoba??? GSP vs Anderson in Moosejaw 2014.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Barao and Wineland... kinda looking forward to that. I called fight of the century for Wineland/Pickett and it didn't happen, but Wineland's always seemed to be a guy who fights to his level of competition. This one should be better.

The UFC needs to throw a boatload of money at Bibiano Fernandes. Because after Barao beats Wineland, and he will, there is no one for him to fight outside of Cruz. The 135 division has good fighters, but the 2 guys at the top are too dominate and need fresh meat. Bibiano is an elite 135 pounder and would challenge either guy.

Wasn't there a rumor floating around about Chad Mendes dropping to 135 before he got matched up with Guida? Can Frankie Edgar make 135?

I heard somewhere that Frankie wrestled at 133 in college. Have to think he could make 135.

Rashad/Hendo is now the main event.

Chael talking smack on Twitter and wants Rua. I wouldn't mind seeing that. It'll be competitive (at least compared to a Jones matchup).

Kinda makes sense.

They could use Sonnen to sell this PPV, because I don't see a ton of people buying it as is.

How long since Sonnens last match?
I could see him beating Shogun.

I personally think Shogun isn't great though.

I feel like I say this about every other Shogun fight nowadays, but this applied even more than usual here: he can sub Sonnen with a leg lock.

He tries that every fight it's it's only worked against Randleman. This would be his best chance in a while though.
