Hard to know if Rory vs Ellenberger is headline material for a Fox card. Considering how stacked the card is next weekend, Fox 7, I don't think so.

I know this is a weird sentiment, but I kind of get disappointed when we see sf guys matched with sf guys, even though they never fought. Kennedy/Gracie, Lawler/Saffedine etc. Besides sf sucking at the end, the intrigue in the merger for me was matchups that were never possible. Kennedy/Stann, Gracie/Ring, Lawler/Kos was fun, Saffedine/someone Pierce's level...Jacare/Philippou is awesome...Cormier/Mir is awesome...

Agree completely, that was my first thought when the fight was announced.

Demeitrus Johnson will likely be on it defending his title against John Moraga

Tate/Carmouche planned, if Tate gets clearance in time.

People who know more than me: Is Carmouche good? Like is she a top women's fighter? Or was she just kind of in the right place at the right time?

I think she's good, but not elite.

She also has a win over "unknown fighter" on her record.

I pay more attention to women's MMA than most, and I have no idea who Jessica Andrade is. I think Carmouche should be okay.

Well I don't know anything about Andrade, but supposedly 6 of her 9 wins came against fighters making their pro debut.

You can tell almost nothing about a female fighter by her record. A lot of them fight cans and a lot of the good ones fight nothing but top tier fighters.

Saff is out against Lawler, Siyar Badmanhurtzada is in his place.
