I feel compelled to pay for the UFC's subscription network thing.

Maybe this is better in its own thread or the nonthreadworthy thread, but if its true that the ENTIRE library will be on display and possibly all of the promotions that zuffa now owns (pride library, wec library, etc.)...it actually is tempting.

Would be awesome to go back and watch some old school wec especially.

If we got the entire WEC/Pride library I would sign up for sure. That would be great, it's really hard to find some old WEC fights on the internet.

Might prefer to watch some old Pride or WEC over this card. What the ****.

It was fair. It was weak sauce until the end.

And two wrongs don't make a right. First the Aussie card, now this? C'mon UFC. You seriously expect us to consume this crap? They should be honored if this card got pirated. It certainly doesn't deserve a subscription, or thread dedicated to it. Discussion should be in the non thread worthy thread.

This is one they might not really expect Americans to watch.

I was thinking that. I mean no one started a thread for the last Legacy Fighting card.

Dana said verbatim this weekend that a true mma fan never judges a card until it happens.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

Can I decide whether to pay for it after I watch it?

(Well I don't actually plan to watch it, but you get the point...)

Don't forget the featured fight of Royston Wee vs. Dave Galera. Galera is the 416th ranked FW according to Fight Matrix and Wee is an undefeated (2-0) fighter who tried out for TUF China but was so impressive the UFC just signed him outright (his 2 defeated opponents have career records of 0-1 and 0-2 BTW).

OneFC is based in Singapore, right?

I'm not sure how much better this is than one of their cards (I'm guessing at least a little better), but I bet it's a **** ton more expensive.

In a place that already gets relatively high level MMA regularly, is it possible that they will see this as the UFC just trying to sell the UFC name, and not a UFC level card and not support it, or will they just be thrilled the UFC is doing a show there and go because of MMA fever?

Yep. People have discussed wheter the UFC's outreach to other countries would hurt support in the U.S. But I have to wonder just how successful the will be in gaining support in places like Singapore with cards like this.

The last card OneFC did in Singapore had Bibiano Fernandes and Shinya Aoki on it so i guess star-power wise they probably topped it, but I dunno who the **** any of the other guys fighting were.

At the beginning, they'll go and buy it due to the novelty and brand-recognition aspect, but over time the UFC will have to deliver with a better product than the one they are currently producing. They theorize the cards will improve over time, but I suspect they will stagnate or go in the other direction because of their initial weak offerings and dedication to their Fox deal (they'll be stretched thin(ner) there in the interim as well). Look at the turnouts in Brazil going down dramatically. They need to buy or enjoy the demise of Bellator, M-1, One, etc. for this to work. Bellator would help them dramatically in Russia and Brasil, M-1 also Russia, and One in Asia. I think this plan displays that power is going to Zuffa's heads. They think they can sell UFC on their name to fans and fighters alike. We'll see, but I doubt it.

Worth the subscription for Katsunori Kikuno debut alone.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

This is going to be a hard card to pick Pick'em pool. I know Saffiedine and Holloway.

We might not do it under the "isn't on U.S. TV" standard.
