Seems like a step down for Davis. Unless the UFC is really honoring that WSOF belt.

Have you guys ever been to a UFC show? I'm really debating going to this one, it's not a bad hike from DC but I don't have a clue as to where to sit.

I'm not doing floor seats, and lower level, so it's either mid-level seats (which would run me like $285 for 2 tickets) or upper level seats, but not quite nosebleeds. I'm debating the entirething, between gas, dinner, and tickets, I'm probably better off just ordering it at home.

not a great spectator viewing sport, you end up watching the screens
at least i did at the first show in toronto
but it is cool to go and feel the vibe
my buddy went to the first show in montreal and they are **** insane there, so he had a blast

long story short, good experience if your cool with watching the screens

A worthy thing to watch I think. Jones is young, strong and has a road up to go.His fight vs Gustaffson was really tough. I think he has good chances to win the fight. I haven't ever been to UFC show,$285 for 2 tickets sounds like a bit too much for me. I would go though if could see the fight not screens.

Updated card:
Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira

Joseph Benavidez vs. Timothy Elliott
Bobby Green vs. Jim Miller

Skip past him, though, you got Castillo and Holloway. Castillo is now an interesting fighter, moreso after that noble loss than anytime prior.

It's a great card.

I think it's interesting match-making, between career-states and styles both.

Bump with updated card:

MAIN CARD
Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET
Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira (for light heavyweight title)
Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson
Tim Boetsch vs. Luke Rockhold
Yancy Medeiros vs. Jim Miller
Andre Fili vs. Max Holloway
PRELIMINARY CARD
FOX Sports 1, 8 p.m. ET
Joseph Benavidez vs. Timothy Elliott
Takanori Gomi vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg
Bethe Correia vs. Jessamyn Duke
Joe Ellenberger vs. Vagner Rocha
PRELIMINARY CARD
UFC Fight Pass, 7 p.m. ET
Charlie Brenneman vs. Danny Castillo
Chris Beal vs. Patrick Williams

Some shuffling in the last month, but still looks pretty good.

I remember Chris Beal from TUF, and I seem to recall people were high on him, but I can't remember much else. Was he actually good at fighting, or is he just "explosive and athletic"?

What kind of a chance are people giving Glover? I have Jones as a heavy heavy favourite, but I still like to see him take on different types of fighters in fresh fights. So I'm looking forward to this.

This event is sold by the headlining fight not much else. Ugh.

Boetsch vs Rockhold is a good one. But neither guy will contend, IDT.

I love Jim Miller, I think he's a stud. Bobby Green wasn't much of an opponent, I'm not a believer, who is his replacement???

Castillo from an amazing performance for the belt to the pre-pre-lims??? Chralie Brennamen?

There are some good fighters, not many good fights, IMO. Unfortunate. But maybe they're trying to intro some of these opponents (or, just as likely,I just don't recognize some of these names/talent).

Weird to see Benavidez on the prelims. No respect for the small guys.

**** I didn't actually realize Ellenberger vs. Tarec was off the card. That's the kind of fight that swings a card (on paper) from okay to good, or the other way around.

Benavidez vs. Elliot should be a higher profile fight.
