I don't get this fight, which will headline a Fight Night card( Fight Night 59). I don't see it going past 1 round. Having it as a main event 5 round fight is pointless.

Its pretty funny that both Aldo and Mendes are calling out Mcgregor and he is fighting Siver lol.

Haha, did Askren have a comeback after getting owned that hard?

McGregor's stuff is pretty douchebro/childish, but that's still a step up from pretty much everyone else in MMA.

Did anyone else see that clip with Mendes, where he was like "do you even know what wrestling is?" and McGregor responded with something like "I know I can rest my balls on your chin" or something like that. Pretty lame, really, but in the MMA world he's like friggin Louis CK.

Do you have a source for that? Last I heard, McGregor vs. Siver was the main event. Maybe they are going to announce a co-main event (Bendo vs. Alvarez is most likely it), but McGregor will get top billing.

I think Cerrone vs. Jury was announced for this and then moved to 182 (Jones/DC) when Rousey/Zingano got moved to 184.

Too much to keep up with.

Askren would mount him and noogie him into submission. He doesn't have to say another word. Conor's just barking at someone he knows he'll never fight.

Yea, Askren would hold him down, grab McGregor's wrists and make him hit himself in the face and repeatedly say "stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself".

Dana also confirmed today that Conor will get a title shot (in Ireland in May?) with a win over Siver.

So dominating the number one contender doesn't earn you a title shot, but beating an unranked fighter earns you a title shot? Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo are 2 of the greatest fighters of all time!
