Jesus christ why would anyone want to see this in 2015? Last time I saw Cro Cop he was babbling and slurring like he was punch drunk, Gonzaga is 35 and on a 2 fight loss streak. Weird.

Yea, this is just so skippable. Honestly of the 5-6 events cpt just updated, I feel like maybe 2 of them are worth watching for the next 2-3 months.

Doesn't help that this is on one of those double header weekends either.

There's a good argument to be made that Gonzaga/Cro Cop I is the only reason Gonzaga is still fighting. At least when it comes to high profile-ish UFC fights.

Only other guy he's beaten who is anything approaching good is Rothwell.

He's 10-9 vs. Wikipedia by my count. To be fair, nearly all of his losses are to guys who are pretty good.

I may or may not bother watching this, but I'll actually be pulling for Cro Cop in a pretty big way. If he LHK KO'd Gonzaga and retired, that would actually be pretty satisfying.

I wouldn't mind watching the Cro Cop fight or the Sergio Moraes fight. IDK what the deal with Moraes is, he always looks so good but then he fights like once every two years. He last finished Neil Magny. Seems like lots of people do that one fight every two years thing these days.

Anyway, they are on two opposite sides of the card so we'll see how motivated I am to follow through on watching those two fights.

I'd pay to never see CroCop fight again. Ugh.

What is with the lack of fightpass events now?

I think I read somewhere that Fox Sports wanted more shows.

I was just thinking this. At that Fight Pass presser they did a while back to announce all the new content they were adding (Pancrase being the big one), they said this year would have more live cards on Fight Pass than last year did. Except I don't think there has been a single one yet, with this garbage one being the first. I don't need PPV level cards on Fight Pass, but if they don't up the live fights, I may cancel. I rarely use it for anything other than the live fights anymore.

I think Fight Pass is a great idea, they are just half assing it. A Netflix for MMA content makes all the sense in the world, they just need to make it more important than just dumping shows Fox doesn't want and cards Fox won't air at 3am from Asia. The WWE did it right rolling PPVs into their network, but the UFC doesn't even have to go that far. 4 PPVs a year (huge stacked cards), 4 Fox cards a year (similar to the level of card Fox gets now), 12 FS1 (similar to what they get now) cards a year, and then all the rest should be on Fight Pass. Not amazing cards, but stuff on the level of what FS1's weaker efforts look like now.

If you don't use it other than live events, why not just cancel and re-up on the rare months that there is actually a fightpass event?

That sounds like a lot of work, and I do like the idea of supporting Fight Pass, they just need to get their crap together.

You would have canceled in November, re-upped in April, and saved like $50 in the meantime.

I guess that's not true if you care about watching invicta.

I watch Invicta, but I wouldn't say I'd pay 50 bucks to watch 2 Invicta events. I'll give the UFC some time to get Fight Pass in order. I really think it's the future of the UFC. I just wish they knew that.
