Well was totally, completely wrong on the prior fight! Lolz! I will take Bisping in Round 4 for this fight!

I've been half watching this main event because I don't care too much, but Bisping has been literally running this entire round. Literally, running away.

Do you guys know any boards where dudes are into the UFC? Cos this was a great event.

Calderwood...holy Lord, that was amazing. One of the performances of the year in women's MMA, her technique (opponent aside) is crisp as heck. And her pace. Her against Jed a year or two from now will be legit and great. She's not ready right now, her assessment of her skills should not be trusted...they need to give her another couple fights. Hope they don't rush.

Bisping was moving backwards rapidly, for sure, but not "running" in the least bit of a cowardly way. He was there for re-engagement w/ combos every time, almost never through singles. I thought it was an amazing performance, though Thales clearly won it 3:2 at worst. Bisping's would lull Thales forward, meet his aggression with that sticking jab, move at the hips, throw another precise combo and then move his feet laterally + back. Thales looked way bigger and had the obvious power advantage (cos of PEDs), badass performance from Bisping. You need to be either cold as ice or have crazy cardio to move backwards at that rate. It generates a prey response in me if I move backwards too much and jacks my heartrate up way beyond the what aerobic demands of the movement would require alone.

Joseph Duffy looked awesome and is an exciting prospect. Pro boxer, head kick KOs, with really good subs. And evidently super serious about his training.

I actually came out with the opposite feeling about Calderwood. She's been presented as elite, but she hasn't looked like it to me in the 5 or so fights I've seen of her in the UFC (including TUF). Maybe there's something technical I'm missing, but to me she doesn't look that sharp and she gets hit a ton. She would get absolutely ruined by JJ, whether it's now, or in two years. JJ is younger with less experience; she's going to improve too.

Wasn't paying super close attention to much else.

Dunham seemed to dominate Pearson, but I don't know what that means.

Bisping and Leites was a solid back and forth fight, but didn't really do it for me. I knew the result going in though, so there wasn't any suspense to it. It seemed to me like Leites should have won, but I didn't break it down round by round. Bisping is still a tough out, and I give a lot of credit to the guys who have actually beaten him, especially the ones not on PEDs.

It sounds dumb, but I'd give him Jacare as a main event on some Brazil/Euro card as a title eliminator. I'd give Jacare about a 90% chance of winning, and then he would have some more momentum and exposure going into a title shot. Conversely, if Bisping actually won, he'd have beaten Dollaway, Leites, and Jacare in a row, and could finally get that title shot.

I kind of feel the same way about Jojo, which is a shame, because I really like her. But, she doesn't look like the stand up berserker she was sold as. She gets hit a lot and has a tendency to get sloppy when taking counter-fire. Add to that her lackluster ground game and I see a middle of the road fighter in that weight class. Hope I'm wrong though.
