I go back and forth on whether or not it's a good idea to put a second title fight on a McGregor card. Probably doesn't move the needle much, but it might give Weidman/Rockhold a bump when it comes time to carry their own show.

We'll see if Lawler's war with Rory on the last McGregor show paid off when he headlines in Australia.

As for who else gets added, I would just stack it with guys you want eyeballs on, not guys you think will draw eyeballs in, because if those first two fights aren't enough to get you, you're a lost cause. I could list some people, but I'm sure they're already booked on cards I don't even know about.

Unless it's a milestone show like UFC 100, or the first time at MSG, etc., I'm good with just one belt at most being on the line per show

Having said that, Luke Rockhold has a ton of marketability and should be given as much exposure as possible

This sounds crazy, but with since we already saw Cormier/jones, I think Weidman/Rockhold may be the number one fight in the sport I want to see right now.

Souza vs. Romero added. Smart. Might as well add Edgar/Someone.

Edgar vs. the Holloway/Oliveira winner?

Card could have nobody else I've ever heard of and would still be one of the best ever with that top 4.

Was thinking Lamas. But it doesn't matter a whole lot since Edgar would be the one moving up in case of injury pull out. Frankie has already fought Oliveira. Forgot Lamas was scheduled to fight Diego though.

Yeah, that's something I found out today as well, since I thought Lamas would have been a decent fit.

Frankie having already fought Oliveira complicates things, but if he beats Holloway, you can't say he doesn't deserve a #1 contender fight, so I think people would be alright with a rematch. Holloway probably wins anyway, but then you have the question of whether or not you want to risk putting him up against Edgar. He's already beaten Swanson as the token win over a contender, but I think he'd need something bigger to leap into the Conor/Aldo/Mendes/Frankie group.

Weidman vs Jones is probably my current dream fight.

Conor came out and said that after Aldo, he is going up to LW. He said he may considering sticking around if Edgar dominates Mendes and earns it but doesn't sound like he will. Already started selling fights with Cerrone and RDA.

His weight cut looks tough, but 155 will be significantly harder competition for him. Did anyone ask him what if he loses?

I support him leaving the division in any scenario because I want Frankie to get another title shot (with potential down the line to get the 135 belt and be the first to get 3). Don't want he getting a rematch with Aldo and holding Frankie's shot up (with the big if of him beating Mendes of course). Also I think he's simple too big for Frankie.

So, if Conor does beat Aldo and moves up, let's say Frankie wins by decision which Conor doesn't deem good enough, then they do Aldo/Edgar 2 for the FW title?

And I guess if Mendes wins and Conor leaves, they'll have to do Aldo/Mendes?

And If Aldo wins it'll be Aldo/Conor 2 or Aldo/Edgar 2.

Him going to LW explains why he just recently teamed up with Khabib. Let's be honest, he don't want none of that.

If he wants the belt he might not be able to avoid Khabib for long.

Wonder if this will be awesome or the worst K-1 fight ever.

War MAIA

I feel like there was a point when people thought Maia was done, but in reality he has only really lost to Rory (after mounting him in round one) and Shields (stalemate, decision could have easily gone either way).
