I think the best, most dominant fighter p4p is Mighty Mouse and his work this year only solidified it more, but FOTY isn't necessarily about the most consistently dominant fighter, it's about moving the needle, making a jump into stardom, etc. Basically, Mighty Mouse is so good relative to his weight class that he's getting the prime Shaq treatment. I was not surprised with Mighty Mouse's 2015, but I was with Conor's. This year's Steve Nash is Conor McGregor.

I think the bigger issue with MM is that he isn't super active and the opponents he beats don't carry a lot of name value. It's hard to choose a guy who went 2-0 this year beating Dodson and Horiguchi. That just doesn't have a lot of wow factor. None of that is his fault of course and he's a killer, but it's going to be tough for him to win a FOTY while at 125 lbs.
