Absolutely crazy. I remember before he debuted in pro MMA and my dad was showing me his backyard stuff in Miami because that's where we lived. Only to watch his disappointing debut and that match against Dada not too long ago. And he's gone just like that.

RIP.

Sad news. I've not always liked how Kimbo was used as a meal ticket by certain orgs, but I always respected him as a stand up guy who worked hard to get where he did. Definitely bummed out to hear of his passing.

Would anyone be surprised at heart attack? Look at the list he blew over on after his last fight... And he looked brutal then.

That said, he worked hard. Rip indeed

Not that it's the first concern here of course, but this is a real bad look for Bellator. He got busted for juicing and they threw him right back into a fight and this happened in the lead up.

Certainly not an elite MMA talent but he always seemed to give all he had which is all you can ask of anyone. Also came across as a pretty good dude too. Anything abrasive about him looked like nothing more than salesmanship to me. R.I.P. Kimbo.

The most legendary boxer and the most legendary street brawler passed in the same week. Bad week for combat sports :/ R.I.P

Kimbo was a bad, tough SOB. Wish he'd started MMA at a younger age.
