In the interest of avoiding spoilers spilling over into the other thread, here's one for this event. I haven't watched this season at all, but I might be more interested in the main event here than any other fight this weekend (though I'm sure I'll be glued to Lesnar/Hunt and DC/Silva).

I hate it when the fights that I want to watch are spread out awkwardly like this. Interested in the Brooks fight as well as the main event.

Yeah, that Brooks fight is interesting. I like watching Pearson.

Surprisingly the Fight Network is airing the event when it was scheduled to be on TSN instead with FN airing Kickboxing.

It was a pretty straight-forward 29-28 for Brooks. Not only did he get a UD, but ALL 21 media judges scored it for him too. http://mmadecisions.com/decision/7133/Will-Brooks-vs-Ross-Pearson It's a rarity you see that in a 29-28. Pearson closed strong, and had a shot in the ol' pride scoring, but not in the unified rules for which each new the score. Brooks was seemingly tired and just trying to hold on to his lead. But starting in the 1st he was landing that knee to the body and clinch bows. Also the occasional straight and body kick. Neither dominated it, but Brooks still had the discernible edge. Pearson didn't do much.

Not one of Brooks' better fights, or overly impressive in isolation, but given it was his octagon debut, and coming on short notice, it was more than fine. Off the schneid. That's what you want to get coming from another org. Next time he can loosen up with that in mind and probably not wear down with a regular camp.

Seriously kill me. I just want to watch the main event so I can get off here, but we have to suffer through these tuf fights.

These women are unreal, Dana must feel so stupid that he said he'd never allow them to fight in the UFC.

Dont be suprised if Joanna loses lol. She got taken down so much in the first 3 rounds.
