It'l be interesting to see where Rousey's at. But even if she's as good as ever, Nunes is a tough challenge.

Amazing!

Long-play, yeah? Not blowing the drama of her come back fight and a rematch w Holm on one fight.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

If Ronda is the same fighter, gotta think she takes this one. Nunes seems more like a whirlwind, but inherent is that is a lot of more chaotic situations / scrambles. That's when Ronda pops elbows.

Rousey could use a tune up, IMO. But she might not want to do many fights. She's still with Edmond?

Ronda still matches up extremely well, even with her "striking", with the majority of the 135 division. Nunes is an aggressive pressure fighter which suits Ronda's grapple-heavy style. On paper, Ronda should take this one. But with Nunes having watched Holm dismantle Ronda, she may switch things up a little bit.

I'm iffy on Ronda, but she has one of the best walkouts around. "Bad Reputation" is perfect for her.

Rhonda excels at putting a beating on people who bum rush her. So common sense says that Nunes runs her gameplan, which is that she comes in guns a blazing, and then Ronda is going to grab her and toss her into an armbar.

I gotta agree with Redd though, Everyone watched Holms pick her apart. They have to change their gameplan and figure out that that is a much better game plan than running at her.

The other thing that has me worried for Rhonda is that she was sort of like a 2nd Era MMA fighter, and the rest of her division was 1st generation era MMA fighters. Meaning they were undertrained, or excelled in one area but not true MMA fighters. The division is changing some, and there's more 2nd era women MMA fighters emerging. The game is changing and the fighters are getting better.

I still don't see many 2nd era women MMA challenges for Ronda. Ronda's been away for a while but I don't feel like the division has evolved significantly in the past year. Holm, Tate, Nunes and probably Zingano are the only fighters outside of Ronda that I would consider 2nd era in that they're very well rounded fighters. Ronda beats Zingano (again), Tate (again) and probably Nunes. Holm is the only one with the style that's perfectly suited to beat Ronda. Valentina might have a chance if she fought more at a distance.

There are just so few fighters that has the style to exploit Ronda's glaring weakness.

So far:

- Amanda Nunes vs. Ronda Rousey – for women’s bantamweight title
- Johny Hendricks vs. Neil Magny
- Matt Brown vs. Tarec Saffiedine
- Alex Garcia vs. Mike Pyle
- Sabah Homasi vs. Brandon Thatch
- Tim Means vs. Alex Garcia

No lie 9-10 of those 12 fighters are coming off losses!

It must be a deliberate theme, designed around Rousey??

A card of recently knocked out ex-champs would've been cool.

Nunes / Rousey
Rockhold / Souza
Werdum / Barnett (Cain is getting next title shot presumably, Overeem would be great if available)
Lawler / Cerrone
Dos Anjos / Chiesa

Cain/Werdum is a huge matchup that I've been waiting since that very odd performance by Cain losing his belt in Mexico.

Personally I think they should've used that matchup for 206 to help it sell better, but you can understand the reasoning for stacking the final card of the year

Apparently Cruz Garbrandt in the works too.. what a stacked card

Would have liked to see Garbrandt/Lineker(some serious hands) and a TJ/Cruz rematch but so be it

I think Cruz styles on and around No Love. If a quicker and almost equally as powerful TJ could barely touch Cruz, it would be a tough ask for Garbrandt to lay hands on Cruz. I feel like they are pushing Garbrandt in there too early against one of the best and smartest fighters on the roster. I can see the UFC wanting a fresh and exciting match up for Cruz though. TJ/Cruz 2 wouldn't be half bad either cos the first fight was close (not really in my eyes) according to the score cards

I personally would've preferred the Garbrandt/Lineker match up too. That would be an absolute BANGER.

So in addition to Ronda being mad at Ariel because Travis Browne admitted to his and Ronda's relationship on the mmahour, and being mad at PVZ for congratulating Holly on winning the title, Ronda is also apparently furious with Joe Rogan for saying anything "negative" relative to her loss to Holly.

Biggest princess in the sport, hope she gets KTFO by Nunes. Its just funny because Rogan is the biggest Ronda nuthugger in the world. Remember when he almost cried because she is a "once in a human history talent" or whatever other nonsense he spewed? lolzers.

To armchair psychoanalyze, Rousey comes off as insanely insecure.

That's really bold, you sure you are comfortable with such an outlandish claim? 8-)
